Ok so I have been Christian faith for all my life . I have read the Bible since childhood , observed several Christian sects and thought I had found some thing to believe in but always ended up not fully being a believer . I started to listen to the call of prayer found on you tube one day . It was beautiful , then I forgot but didn’t forget . Recently it’s been on my mind , Islam and I got ahold of the Quran . Since reading the translated version I can honestly say for the first time I have this deep feeling of peacefulness . A couple years ago driving by the mosque for work I felt the urge to go in and ask for guidance on what to do . Fear of ridicule held me back . I felt driven recently to get the Quran myself to start reading and am glad I did . I’m not being negative against Christianity , I must say I have never found peach with it . When I say Allah to my self I really feel like I’m being heard . I have such peace and troubles seem to flow away . I can’t explain it and I will continue to read and explore Islam . Peace be with you .

I grew up Mormon and converted to Islam over 30 years ago. We had a university mosque nearby where I grew up and there were really very few to no converts most of the time. My husband is Egyptian and so I had some exposure to Islam before converting and then coming to the mosque in my hometown. Like you, I wasn't sure if I was allowed inside the mosque so for months I said in an adjoining room when women prayed. Now I have been Muslim longer I my life than non-Muslim.

If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven? If no, here is what the bible says, (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Q1. Do you know what Sin is? Sin is anything bad that we have done. Q2. Have you sinned before? Yes or No? (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Because they have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell. What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God? Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus? (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN. Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus. (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this. (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner. (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer : ‘Dear GOD, I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen! Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God. That's why we need to study biblical dispensationalism to rightly divide the word of God.( study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, 2 Timithy 2:15) (I recommend the dispensationalism video from Genesis to Revelations by Dr. Gene Kim, kzitem.info/news/bejne/qH9qqaibfnipgqA) , join a bible believing church. The fact that he said about his wife “she’s been a low-key Muslim all her life”. This is what we say all the time, there are so many white British people in Uk that are sooo sweet and nice and tell ourselves they are better than us Muslims, only thing is they haven’t just taken shahada.

When someone takes shahaddah and enters Islam, it touches in the hearts of every Muslim that meets or watches the new family members, an we try our best to welcome them, pure hugs an loves, that is how we should feel towards the old members of the family too I mean the already Muslim ones, that sincere brotherly an sisterly is missing in the ummah today

Salaam and welcome to Islam! May Allah bless you! I became Muslim as a teenager 36 years ago and it’s been awful seeing the propaganda building over the last few decades but so nice to see some people able to see through all the lies and embrace the truth and beauty of Islam. Please keep posting. Love you guys

Is the the "propaganda" you talk about? - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - And the witness of a women is worth only half of that of a man. (Surah 2:282). That is an insult to all women.

Please share more!!!!! You guys are really inspiring. I’m also a revert. I’m taking a class right now for the reverts at a masjid in Birmingham of all place. What I know is Muslims are everywhere. The Muslim community is really strong and diverse in Alabama. A lot of reverts. Is Detroit similar? Another video idea might be how you told your family that you converted to Islam? I’m curious about how you told your family and friends that you are Muslim? Was it a huge shock for people? Did your family accept your decision? No need to share if your not comfortable with that . May Allah reward you guys for sharing your experience with all of us. This was really sweet and genuine. Ramadan Mubarak ☪️

They both have KZitem Channels that are filled with beautiful information that you can explore when you have time 🤍💚 You two are so blessed to have each other, may Allah make your mutual love an asbab (means) to being among those most consciousness of Him Al Wadud (one of the 99 name of God: The Loving, The Source of all Love, The One Who Loves!), Aamin ya dhal Jalali wal Ikram 🤲 So excited for your journey - such a darling couple Masha Allah 😊

I’m so glad to see that you and your wife have reverted! Stay strong on the Deen, there will definitely be struggles along the way but I could tell you two are genuine and kind so I hope Allah makes it easy for you and your family InshaAllah. P.s I can’t wait for the day your beard connects 😂 SUBSCRIBED! 👍🏼
The way you talk about your wife put tears in my eyes💚💚 , your love to each other is exactly what Islam is about. Very inspiring masha allah, and by the way , mispronunciations of Arabic words by non Arabic speaking reverts/converts does not sound stupid, but rather cute/sweet 😊

May Allah bestow his peace and blessings upon you. Allah knows you and do not be in a hurry. Always judge Islam from the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet and not on the behavior of someone whom you sometimes disapprove. Try to be regular to Masjid.

Assalamualaikum brother and sister. Hopefully y'all doing great. I'm Zan from Malaysia. Just a friendly reminder to us all muslim, keep learning and just to few things at once. Consistency is the key, don't push yourself too much, you might end up exhausted and give up.

I just wished you were next to me only to hug you and fill up the love I feel in my heart right now, all in all, you are welcome home, Islam is our home, a home of a billion plus Muslims. I am from Africa, Uganda, but living in the UAE. You are a very lucky man, your statement, "I am addicted", it really got me emotional, and it's because I understand when a soul is genuinely connected to it's creator. That's the real feeling, 💯.
