Thanks so much for this video!! I have two males that were bonded. Then when we separated cages (even though they still see and smell each other) they started some of these behaviors that I thought were awful! Glad to know it’s super normal! Whew! Thank you!!

Can you do videos about how to organize the space for the rabbit (their room, the house) and tricks to keep everything clean? I have a rabbit and her room is getting so messy in a few hours. ❤

This was great thank you! Can I ask what you did overnight whilst in the long bonding session ? Did you separate them again or just leave them too it? X

We kept them together. Marathon bonding requires no separation once the bonding process starts. We slept near them so we could hear any scuttling & bonded them on a holiday weekend when we could be at home to watch over them.

our first two "dates" were planned to be 15 minutes, but because they were getting along so well, they stayed together for a couple hours.

Im so glad I found your channel! I have a question that I commented on your other video but I wanted to ask again here just in case it gets missed. I have a 1.5 spayed female and a 9 week old baby male. Do you think I should keep them separated until I can get the male neutered or do you think I can start “bonding” them now? (And then bond them again like you did with Malibu and Whiskey after Malibu was spayed). Is there a risk when I introduce both bunnies when our baby bunny is still so small? How old were Whiskey and Malibu when you first introduced them to each other?

So Sorry! We took a break from KZitem over the last month while renovating & moving... I think I replied to your other comment about de-sexing. To answer your other questions, the only risk when bonding a young bunny with an older one is that the older one could injure the younger one if a fight were allowed to break out. Other than that, size shouldn't be a problem in bonding. Malibu was about 4 months old and Whiskey was 6 months old when they were face to face for the first time. But they had been living side by side for two months prior to that.

Hello Please i want to ask you something about my bunnies My English not good I hope you understand me , i have 5 rabbits -3 boys 2 girls-( sterilization ) I have 2 rabbits with obsessive eyes (( boy and girl )), i really feel sad because i know it’s a very bad habit , what do i do to get rid of obsessive? Please tell me Also have another rabbit that started biting my other rabbit eyes , but she no obsessive with eyes, is it dangerous? (( another girl )) But i isolated her because i was afraid that she would hurt him in the eyes It’s because the females are not together ? Is biting the eyes dangerous of rabbits? They are my rabbits : Kentaru and Eva= obsessive eyes (( boy and girl)) and they are couples alone Dante and Nene = Nene started biting Dante eyes (( girl and boy )) and they are couples alone Dante and Oliver = they are good together but Nene hates Oliver (( boys )) I want a solution of the problem of biting the eyes I want to make my bunnies together but biting the eyes scared me

Hi! Rabbits clean eachother's eyes, nose, and ears! They may get a little aggressive with her grooming, but other than that, cleaning the eyes is totally normal.

this is so helpful, thank you! Just a few questions - are both buns castrated/sterilized? do they have separate "burrows" or the same one to hide? and what is their age? :)

Hi there! Both of our bunnies are desexed. They have lots of beds and places to lay in. They often choose to lay together but sometimes you'll find them apart. Malibu is now 10 months and Whiskey is over a year :)

This was a great video. It was really helpful to show the various stages and communication between them. I’m still trying to decide when it’s safe to keep my 2 together. TFS!
