This is actually insane, I always wished for good redstone paint, but it always seemed impossible to do with convenient UI, but you guys did it with actual tools and tablet to draw and everything IN 24 HOURS. Also your vids on binary and stuff actually helped me understand some of the concepts in cs that i thought were just too difficult for my small brain to understand, you're awesome :P

I designed my own input system. It uses signal strength :) You start with the 16×16 square of tripwire. A player always stands in a rectangle. You can measure the corners of the rectangle using four signal strength inputs. This allows for tiny input. You transmit everything using instant comparators, because saying something is instant sounds cool!

Hey, I got a question. Could you do a more in depth memory operations video? I'm not a redstone pro, but i was trying to make a stationary noteblock player - have all noteblocks in one place, and memory-driven redstone pulse generator held seperately, instead of having these long lines of noteblocks - too much walking for listeners, especially for long songs. This, if it worked, would have eliminated the large part of sound delay or muting (due to distance). OFC, the way I see it, every song would need 4 memory modules, bc I think the memory you used last video had a latency of 4 (so 4 memory blocks with 1 delay between them would be needed?). Encoding could be painful as well, unless I managed to keep the copy - the only way I thought of was adding a backup copy of all memory that would be written as the main is read, and copied back when done... I probably have a bunch of research to do yet, but do you see any simpler way to do that? Currently my idea seems kind of... big. ~1600 noteblocks (which, to be fair can be cut down - i do not need every instrument, perhaps 2 or 3), a lot of wire, and the memory itself... well, a bit clunky.
