Dandelions are often considered a weed but are one of the few plants introduced to almost every continent that isn't actually invasive, they can be eaten by practically anything and don't directly compete with native flora or even other crops, and above all else, they are healthy to consume. They should be a welcome sight on a lawn or garden, i suggest that dandelion lawns are more favorable and easier to take care of than grass lawns.

@@muhammedahmed3291 how I make it calls for some dandelion blossoms to be slow simmered in water for an hour. Then I like to leave it to steep for at least 8 hours. Then I take the blossoms out and measure the amount of dandelion tea I have. I start adding sugar. I cup sugar for every 2 cups tea. I add the juice of 1 lemon for every 8 cups. Then boil the liquid slowly so it evaporates some of the water. Everything can be adjusted to suit your tastes. Stop boiling it when you like how thick it is. It can burn easily so be careful. I use it as a pancake syrup or on cake. Edit: sometimes when I have the time I only use dandelion petals. But that takes a lot of flowers.

You have to be careful with _"just any plant"_ *Not all plant parts are edible.* Take Rhubarb for example- The Leaves and Roots are toxic, _yet you can eat the Stems with no problems!_ Plus there are some plants that should not be eaten raw - but are safe if cooked. *Best to research any plant you are planning to ingest to see if there are any warnings.* Also if they are a Medicinal type plant, then check to be sure it is not something that can harm you....such as if it lowers blood pressure or thins the blood, etc. Though it may help such an ailment, if you are someone who is taking Prescription Medications for that affliction - you may need to take less or none if using plants and herbs as one's medicine. Plus there are many "weeds" that folks rip out of their lawns or driveways that are edible.....and delicious! You can research "Edible Weeds" online or on KZitem for more info. *Hope this helps~*
