This is so so helpful and informative!!! Thank you! 💕 Two things for me this week: 1. Spend time in the Word every single day 2. Make it a point to talk to God throughout my day, even (especially) in the mundane things.

Three things I'm trying this week to get closer to God: 1) I want to spend more time in prayer this week, mostly just to thank God for all that He's done instead of worrying about life. 2) Try to read one verse everyday from my devotional book. (don't know why even that is hard sometimes). 3) Meet up with christian sisters online once a week to study about being a godly wife and how to honor God as such.

I just wanna say I’ve been following you on Instagram for a while now. And you’ve literally changed my life. getting close with god, I grew up going to youth group and I just swayed away a lot but this is the first I’ve ever started spending time with him. This week I am going to start getting up super early and walk on my treadmill and spend time with god I have young children so doing two things at once is kinda my thing

Thank you, Lexie for the inspiration and guidance. I feel I was guided to your video for assistance. Two things I am going to do this week to pursue my relationship with Jesus are to look for a church and/or study group to attend and to go through my boxes and find our family Bible my mother left me before she passed away and start reading.

These are some things I recently started incorporating into my life! I started doing a prayer page after every journal, so I am going to try and stay disciplined in that. I have also joined a church group that will feed my spirit with community! It took awhile for that opportunity to present itself, but God ALWAYS provides!

Lexie, thank you for making this video! I really needed to hear some of the things you said. Especially about sometimes (a lot) not “feeling” anything when you are reading the Bible. Satan has really used this against me and it has discouraged me from wanting to spend time in the Word. Thank you Lexie for sharing your faith, including the highs and the lows! You are touching so many peoples lives, I know you’ve impacted mine in my faith. ❤️ 1. Read a chapter from the Bible at least 5 days this week using the SOAP method. I think this will be really helpful. 2. Talk to a friend/family member about what I have read and am learning!

Two things for this week: 1. Be more intentional with my scripture reading (treat it more like a precious time in the day and dig deeper). 2. Focus more on serving/ following through when the Lord asks me to serve someone. Thank you for sharing your faith and encouraging me this week!

Thank you so much for this!! I've been desiring and half-heartedly attempting to do better with having my daily devotions, but have struggled largely due to lack of energy, lack of planning, and lack of a study plan- leading to a lack of inspiration and motivation. I've just been lacking and slacking. 1. I'm going to set up a study plan 2. Commit to daily devotions! I've been committing to daily cello practice- with exception of 3 days in last 2 weeks- (I've had COVID and been experiencing major exhaustion!!), so I can commit to devotion time!! 3. Spend more time in prayer. Thank you so much for your unapologetic faith based content, it's so needed these days! ❤

Thank you so much lexie for this video, just what I needed. I struggle with finding my way to read and learn Gods word. I never know what to study or how to study, i am doing reading plans but that doesn't help me to delve into the word. This week I am going to focus more time on being in communication with Jesus, i am going to restart a devotional i had and actually answer the questions and not just read and think. Write the questions and my answers down. I have so much going on in life I find myself running around like a crazy woman and then feeling bad because I haven't spent enough time with Jesus. Blessings to You, Craig and gorgeous Azariah xx

I LOVE THIS! I definitely needed to see this. I’ve been reading my bible every night, only a few passages but I’m just trying to absorb what the Bible is saying. I’m in Genesis right now and I’m definitely struggling. I’ve know God all my life ,but I realized earlier this year that I’ve never actually read the Bible all the way through so I’ve been trying to make that a priority. I don’t want to just say that I’ve read the whole book. I want to also understand it. Because that is so important. I am also looking at joining a group in my church so that I can surround myself with Jesus and his scripture. Thank you for sharing this video!

Thankyou so much I’m not necessarily new to my faith Jesus saved me last year but it was like the parable about the seeds- I sprouted up super fast and faded fast because I didn’t have good roots. Now as I’m a freshman in high school, I’m trying to make strong roots and a strong good relationship with Jesus so that the devil and the world won’t get to me. Currently, I don’t really have a community, my youth group is mostly friends that want Jesus, but haven’t put Him before the world. Tow things I’m going to do are: Talk to one of my best friends who wants Jesus but doesn’t really know how to follow Him. Study the Bible every day whether I feel like it or not. If anyone has more tips for really diving into the word for a relationship with Jesus, please let me know!!

May I share something helpful? I learn better through hearing than reading. When I was a new believer I bought an audio recording of the New Testament. I'd plug in my ear buds and listen as I worked and went about my day. When I heard something confusing I'd stop the tape, jot down that passage, and look it up in my print Bible. Now I own many translations and read the Bible daily.

The Bible is a measuring tool as well. When I hear so-called Christian leaders state something that doesn't sound Godly, I compare their claim to God's Word. Beware of goats in lamb's clothing. New believers are a favorite target of Satan. Keep your nose in the Book and do not follow any other teaching. The Bible is packed with wisdom and guidance. It never gets boring. It's amazing how something I've read several times can suddenly leap off the page with a fresh insight. YHWH bless and guide all believers, and protect them from being deceived.

You probably feel unworthy and guilty. That's true of us all. Don't let those feelings create doubt. You can be absolutely certain your salvation if you believe that Jesus took the punishment for your sins. Follow your Savior throughout life and don't dwell on the past. Through your faith and God's grace you are saved.
