🇦🇺😎👍I brought the blued varmint model. Wish I brought the sporter….Bubba Cleaver does deals🏁…I love the floor plate magazine….I like those plastic stocks. I’ve got 2 of them. I’ve also have 2 Hogue overmould stocks and they are terrible while shooting off a bipod. ( too flexible).I went to Bubbas Bugout Superstore a few weeks ago and grabbed a couple sandbags to step up the accuracy ( hopefully). Those pic rails get in the way when using the 223 rifles as the bullets are so small and loading is awkward...2209 is the right powder🏁. Great video

I’m left handed yet I still have 2 of them! Thinking of going back for a 223 or 243

My soft stock 243 Howa model 1500 will poke all three rounds of Remington 100 grain core lok into a single jagged hole at 100 yards. It took 50 rounds to smooth the imperfections in the bore before it started putting em in the same hole. I always wait for 15 minutes between shots to let these skinny barreled guns retract from the heat.

Yes the skinny barrels do tend to heat up pretty quickly, and they retain the heat for a while too. That’s not so bad in a hunting situation where there aren’t great volumes of shots in a relatively short time frame.

@2 Clicks Up its about the accuracy testing that counts because it only takes one shot per animal.

@@jimpalmer4916 agreed. Usually enough time between shots for the barrel to cool sufficiently

Thanks for the video mate. Gave me a good insite! Do you have any videos of you pulling the gun apart to clean! I’m a newby to the sport and would like to clean my first gun. Howa 243

I’ve done a couple of different videos cleaning/maintaining rifles and different bits and pieces. That’s one of the big reasons I’m so fond of the HOWA rifles; working on them is relatively simple and there’s plenty of aftermarket stuff available. And the prices won’t break the bank.

Yes they’re a good thing indeed. Great accuracy for a fraction of the price of the “ cool kids rifles.”

All that lube sprayed in the chamber is a great way to over pressure a rifle and start blowing primers. Never do what he did in the video here and spray anything into the chamber like that

As of now (mid-June, 2022) Cleaver Firearms has them advertised for $635-00. They’ve usually got them in stock, but just make sure. Cheers.
