G'day mate, a quick fix I found that solved the same problem on my m1100 22lr was the extractor retaining spring clip around the bolt is a bit to tight, I sprung it open a bit and that fixed it. I've put several thousand rounds through since and no feeding problems 👍

Maybe some polishing of sorts might help it? Take a pick, or a small screwdriver and feel around the feed ramp area. Maybe check the feed lips on the magazine.

Same here. Mine is a 1500 .223 20 inch heavy barrel, green hogue stock, shoots one hole groups consistently with my reloads at 100 yards. Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 scope.

Ive reviewed a 223 Howa heavy barrel and it shot lights out as with the other Howa rifles Ive had on the channel. But this one along with the lack of customer support has really turned me off of them. Thanks for watching!

I’m very pleased you posted this series. It was on my list as one to buy. After watching the previous video I scratched it off my list. To bad, I like the looks the they seem to be accurate. I ordered a Savage MKII FV yesterday afternoon.

This is a wake-up call to me never will I buy that rifle. My 10/22 Ruger will stay with me. Savage 10 or 110 or whatever they call it now will be my centerfire for life. Waste of 22 LR ammunition. You certainly made a point.

I have the same problem with mine but couldnt find anything online about it until this series! mine also mostly misfed on the second round out of 10! loading 9 seemed to fix your problems so i cant wait to go and see if this fixes mine as its already been back to the shop once! apparently it has to do with the lips on the mag being too long and not letting the round raise high enough to meet the bnore hole. I hope this fixes mine because like you said its an amazing rifle! its so light and comfortable and shoots a 1/4 inch at 100 easily!!

also i found when you cycle the bolt forward if you have any upward pressure on it at all it made it heaps worst. just let the bolt lay naturally and slide it forward.

Hi I can see what you are doing wrong .When the bolt is open you are pulling down on the bolt as you are pushing foward. . Bolt bind, this happened in your recording even when your mag was empty . In other words you are trying to lock the bolt BEFORE it gets to the down lock up position.

.22 LR guns are finicky guns. I own 2 the lever action is probably the most reliable I've seen yet however my Walther P22 is very picky when it comes to ammo. A bolt action should not have any issues though. Especially a brand new bolt action. The smoothness of the action is the point of a bolt gun. If it doesn't come smooth it takes a lot of work to make it so. My mosin nagant took 2 hands to operate when I got it. After a ton of time polishing it is now smooth as glass. A .22 though generally isn't going to be worth all the time as the castings and machine work is usually very poor.

My gut feeling after fidling with mine time and time again is it's in the extractor clip area. Mine doesn't eject 100 percent of the time either. It stove pipes about 10 percent of the time. Really frustrating not to mention infuriating when you are out trying to cull pests and it just won't function right

That's what I was thinking brother, CCI standard. If it won't run that reliably it won't run anything no matter what anybody says. I Have 5 different 22 rifles, enable all run CCI standard. Different makes different models. Not impressed with the H O w a.
