HI Fonnie, I have two of these plants that I have had for less than a month, and I was checking for watering needs yesterday and I noticed that one of them has a blossom coming! I am so excited, I know how finicky all Hoyas can be an to have one that I just received have a bloom coming makes me extremely happy!! Thank you for all of your tips, mine are all in coconut husks and doing very well.

Glad I caught this video. I have considered acquiring this hoya, but the price a availability is limited in the states. It looks like a pine tree branch tip. Very unusual hoya to be sure.

I’ve had mine for about 6 months. It’s a fast grower for me and has bloomed several times. Earlier blooms were bright orange; later blooms were more yellow. I’m guessing this is due to temperature as nothing else really changed. No scent for me, either. She lives in leca with a wick set-up and is surprisingly easy. A great hoya to add to your collection if you’re looking for something different!

I would say medium light. She’s in a cabinet but not super close to the lights.

sometimes my spartiodes produces flowers but the buds didnt open and they fall, other times they bloom. so im not sure what happened there. but they're prolific, producing flowers several times a year and they produced lots more new branches. also my first spartioides actually produced actual leaves. only 2 but still. i suspect it was because i placed that one in a different room and it didnt get much light
