I'm trying to learn all this. This is by far the best tuning video i've watched. But just to clarify on twisting the cables on the yokes. You put 2-2.5 twist in the left cable only. That got you to shooting perfect. Then to re-sync the cams you just take 2 twist out the right side? Or add 2 additional to the left and take 2 out the right. You kinda confused me how you worded that at the 24min mark

Thank you for the comment. Ideally, a person definitely wants to make the opposite adjustment to the opposite cable. For instance, if you put a twist in the left, do you want to take a twist out of the right in order to keep the same cam synchronization. You’re right, I did not explain that very well and I’ve learned a little more since the video. Also, you can always make an adjustment to the bottom side of the same cable to get your cam synchronization back in line.

Will you be doing a more detailed video on the arrow rest setup / tuning ? Got same bow and rest last week myself . Arrow rest setup is still causing some issues. Really enjoyed this video . Thank you .

Ja Corkie I basically covered the rest setup/adjustments I recommended. They are very minimal. Simply set it up so the arrow and string are perfectly at 90 degrees. Then move the left/right adjustment to align with the center of the riser/grip. If bare shafts aren’t flying with your fletched arrows, you’ll need to adjust your yoke cables/cam lean to get everything square. I can help if needed.

@@travisglassman on my new RX-4 Alpha, the axial to axial is not exactly what it should be, its about 1/8" off much like yours was at first. The more concerning part and my question for you is, the axial to axial is not the same on both sides of the bow. I hope that makes sense, but should that be step 1, to get the avail to axial the same on both sides of the bow and then correct the overall axial to axial?

@@bettscr the axle to axle may be slightly different on each side due to the cam lean or tiller adjustment I speak about in the video. This allows for a better bare shaft or broadhead tune with the rest in a desirable position in the center of the riser. To change the axle to axle length, you'll need to add or remove twists from the string itself. Check out this video kzitem.info/news/bejne/sHpvqamjioiHq6w

Get set up on AT watch KZitem if you want to learn. When I got into archery I decided I needed to become a tuning wizard which took me about a year to get decent at. Getting all the tools were an investment. It's the best way to go to do your own work so your not constantly worried about making it to the shop for this or that. Waiting in lines, and honestly they wont do more than the basic tune. Good luck

I got the same exact bow setup! RX-4 ultra, QAD integrate MX ultrarest, and CBE engage sights. It's a great bow. What stabilizer set do you recommend for this?

I use the Stokerized Stasis 15”. I love the adjustability. You can adjust the position front to back, add weight to front to back etc.

What type of organizer is that when you’re in the garage at the beginning of the video? I’m needing an organizer for all my stuff.

It’s an old shelf that goes behind the seat of a regular cab pickup. I just mounted it to the wall.
