Beautiful! Crazy piston and sleeve design, the sleeve is super thick nowadays they use way less material

That’s a good observation Tasty ‼️ - You are right, the sleeves are pretty thick and do last a good long time (if broken-in and maintained properly). The engine sometimes gets a bad rap but, honestly that is mostly likely because of the hobby sector they were designed for - A lot of engine technology has changed since then but, many things have stayed the same. Shuwa was producing engines like these and the Team Infinity Katana around the same time. So we know that, this design was not just because of the time period they were manufactured. - They may have designed the sleeve that way to “Try” and make it a little more robust for the RTR sector, but not 100% sure. Nevertheless, I am very happy to have it in the collection and share it with everyone 😁 Thanks for taking the time to write and as always, I appreciate you watchn’ 🩷

100% agree. Engine tech has come a long way but, you gotta still love engines likes these - We don’t build them to save money. We do it to help keep the history alive Thanks for watchn’ and taking the time to comment 🩷

I like the fact that the engine uses a floating wrist pin 📌 they should be on every engine!!! piston wrist pin clips suck !!!!
@a2rc
7 ай бұрын
LoL there are pros and cons to everything I guess 😋 - That little plastic part wares out and could be lost. The engine won’t last but a couple min without it before it destroys itself The clip style pin is a much better design but, yes we have to get them in there first lol As always, thanks for watch NitroRc (Carl) 🩷

The engine turned out nice and yes, I’m very happy to be able to find all the new parts. As you know, This a labor of love sometimes at times. It takes time to track down everything (let alone the cost). - Your trucks have been coming along nicely SoS‼️. I’m hoping in the spring/summer time, you can get your new touring car out to play a bit 🥰 Thank you for the message and for watchn’ 🩷
