Always liked rally cars . I wish there was a bigger rally scene in the US .!

Me too! I like the 1:1 sport in general and hence also the RC cars. That they drive regular roads that I also can access easily and it's a different style of driving compared to track driving, different type of flow in the roads. I wish there was a bigger rally scene everywhere, to raise interest and things always seems to have to be popular globally before they can make their way over here... :D

if it was a flat road and the best camera stablisation equipment, would that make the video stream super smooth ?
@Weekend-Driver
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, on a perfectly flat road, you wouldn't even need any stabilisation. That's why I usually drive on tarmac roads. It's easier to see stuff further ahead of the car. I have mounted the camera rigid on the chassis so I get some experience of the suspension. If it's soft, it moves more. It adds to the experience. But this was a bit more than usual.. 😊

Cool but i made it 3 minutes in and my eyes hurt from the screenshake XD I wonder if you could use some sort of gyro stabs for this.

There's also drone video that's buttery smooth kzitem.info/news/bejne/rKNn1Whmr5mWhY4

I've noticed. I think it's much easier, both to drive and watch footage from smooth tarmac surfaces. But this was a special occasion so I wanted to share it anyway. I'm working on a compilation of drone footage and DVR from @mrcrally263. Gonna try to use less onboard and more of the other external clips in that. I also know a guy, @JIPPERR_RC who makes gimbals for FPV cameras. He's got more information his yt-channel. I haven't tried them but the dvr from his rigs looks really smooth.

I see, that's still a pretty cool concept that we can do this. @@Weekend-Driver

@@hatchin Yeah, the whole concept of driving narrow tracks and not having to get up in a tower to see what's going on is so powerful. I like full scale rallying, driving on the narrow roads but it's so expensive and dangerous so I prefer this. Sure, games are available but I also like that there is something mechanical that I can fiddle around with. I'm more of a hardware that software type of person :)
