Finding this channel was really great. I trained xing-yi for a few years non-stop. I did so much standing training, and since my teacher died from cancer, i really haven't found many people who seem to really understand the small movements. My kids do fencing, and there is so much that i feel like they could learn about from xing-yi. If i have more free time, I'll jump into a fencing class and see if i can apply my old experience.

I wonder if any boxers incorporated any of these techniques into there style. They look like they would be very effective in a fight.

I have to wait until after the holidays to join up, but I've been looking for something to expand my training (largely taiji, with an emphasis on... wait for it... post training). I'm so excited I'm vibrating.
