I practiced this in Chicago back in the 90's. This is the first video I found of grandmasters style. Looks great.

Nice form it looks like what yang cheng fu may have done as he changed the guang ping form to the linear form we know today as the "official" yang style. It has all the all directional changes of chen and guang ping with the higher stance of yang cheng fu's version. Sifu Celeste is a true master.

Hi do you perhaps have a sheet with the names of the movements? As compared to Chi Kan Tao, CMC or William Chen, I see 2 or 3 new moves in this sequence. But in terms of style it still looks very Yang. Also, i am curious, when it comes to the 108, is this just more repetitions or are there also some moves added? Thanks for the inspiration! Good vid.

Hello - this is called the 64 form. I don't know if I would call it the long form as I believe that is the 108 form. It's very hard to find a video of Master Hsu. You can only find 1st and 2nd generation (students like myself) practicing his form.

@@afamartialarts7406 The so called 64 if the repetitions of certain movements are only counted as one move. For instance the 4 brush knee movements can be counted as one move or 4 moves depending on the how one counts the moves. That is the basic difference between the 64 and 108 is how the how the moves are counted. So the 108 can have 14 or 19 moves in the 1st depending on whether the repetitions of brush knee are counted which adds 5 moves for 19 total or even 13 if the last move, apparent close up and seal which is really an is counted as the second an or both an's are counted as one one move. So section 2 of the cheng fu form has either 13 or 19 moves if each move is counted as one for instance in repulse the monkey is counted as one move instead of 3 and the two sequences of beng lu ji an single whip is counted as 5 moves instead of 10 as it's repeated twice.
