The HTC EVO 4G was the first 4G Android smartphone released in the United States back in 2010. Its "large" 4.3 inch display and signature kickstand were some of the unique elements to this device. The EVO 4G was a fun phone to tinker with. Flashing ROMs and kernels from XDA Developers or running some of the early root apps on Android.
The EVO 4G has a special place in my heart. It was my first Android smartphone and also the phone which inspired me to start this KZitem channel, originally called "Opensourcegansgter".
