The Maridon Museum in Butler, PA hosted an art exhibition , "Cosmic Contemporary Collaborations" curated by Christine Frechard Gallery, featuring works by China's greatest poet of the 20 century, Huang Xiang who is also a master calligrapher and painter. Huang Xian was imprisoned in China for his role in the Democracy Movement". He was exiled and was the first Artist in Residence at The City of Asylum in Pittsburgh, PA. Huang's calligraphy poems embellish paintings by Randall DiGiuseppe, who is also an amateur astronomer. William Rock exhibited several of his bronze sculptures and Dennis Keyes displayed his visionary "OMG". Huang Xiang and his wife Zhang Victoria, contributed their many photographs collected over the years to make this slideshow. All photographs are used with permission. Two tracks, "Four Seasons" and "Pu, an Incantation", from the Appalasia CD, Pu An, are used by permission of Mimi Jong (Appalasia). In the thumbnail photo, Huang Xian is flanked by Salman Rushdie and Henry Reese, founders of City of Asylum.
