This is a Huawei sword that is on loan from sword friend Scott. This one is called the High Quality Nami Koshirae Hishi-Gami Suguha Hamon Japanese Sword... Its a mouthful.. Sword friend Scott augmented a bit with a sageo that is not from Huawei. He also asked them for a more narrow handle and a coper habaki. This information was presented in his video.

(thoughts on sword relative to $400 price)
The good:
Flat planes
Very sharp edge
Tight ito
Easy to dissasemble
Well made Mikugi
Excellent nakago
Distal taper through the blade and nakago (missed mentioning that in the review)
Well made habaki
No saya rattle
The bad:
Little paint overspray on the kurikata (missed mentioning that in the review)
The yakote is not crisp (though it is nice that it even has an attempt at one)
Slight ledge on the fuchi
Other notes:
The fittings look like copies from some sold at Yamato. Assuming they are clear to resell them, they look pretty nice. Not original but still very nice.
This blade has what looks like koshi sori. The blade is closer to a cross between koshi and tori but the shape of the tsuka push it to koshi (imo). It was not a problem to move and I liked it.
I could not get a swishing sound while doing iaido, maybe it is just me.. Probably, but know it is a quiet one.
