I really love the use of the use of the apostrophe in y'all, however l am strongly disappointed in your usage of thank you as a sentence.
@lailadawn8122
4 жыл бұрын
@@deezball6422 Allow me to put your mind at ease kiddo. When forming a contraction the apostrophe stands in for the missing letters. Y'all is a contraction for "you all." When you shorten the phrase the "ou" in "you" is omitted and the apostrophe put in its place. "Thank you." is a sentence because of the implied subject "I" as in "I thank you." If you are still having a difficult time understanding be sure to ask your grammar teacher. I bet she or he can do a better job explaining the concepts to you.

I'm very impressed with the progress of his mobility and that is, obviously, a direct result of your care and stimulation. Thank you for that. I love the way he went directly to the tree and started working on it right away. He knows what to do intuitively. Huckleberry and Kemosabe were two of the earliest videos I found on your channel and, although they ALL make me grin from ear to ear the entire episode, Huckleberry and Kemosabe make my face hurt from the smiling. I did something similar to surprise the kids at work. The primary (elementary) school was throwing away several branches and the big logs they'd been using at tree stands. I took these and placed them around the forest site we use for the kids to discover and they had the best time making dens and building things with the logs.

I watched a David Attenborough clip about beavers and despite learning about them as a kid I still learned a lot more! In the summer they cut down trees (always seemed to be leafy trees) and drag them back to their pond and "plant" them in the mud at the bottom. Davis said the cool temperatures at the bottom of the pond is like a refrigerator, and it keeps the trees fresh all through the winter and they go and eat them all winter from there. It is super cool! I always thought they hibernated, but I learned something 😁

I ADORE Huckleberry 😍 He is so relatable to by humans, because his behaviour is sort of analogous to our own, ie methodically building a residence, landscaping his surroundings and generally creating a comfortable environment for himself. His diet is incredible! Wowie zowie, imagine noshing a tree for breakfast! That’s dietary fibre big time! Beavers always remind me of a lady I used to know, who had rather similar facial features - minus the fur, of course - and the same kind of highly organised, methodical temperament and energetic but unostentatious way of going about her business. You are so, so blessed to have such a wonderful friend in your life, he has a lovely personality but he’s also so stroke-able and tactile with his gorgeous silky fur and that amazing tail 💕 When I was little, I got a copy of “Sajo and her Beaver People” by Grey Owl. “Grey Owl” was a most interesting person, who championed the study of beavers, perhaps you could do a presentation on him one time? I live in Scotland, where the Royal Zoological Society is re-introducing beavers into the wild. Watching Huckleberry makes me want to go and see these amazing creatures up close. It’s very encouraging to see how he’s managing despite his ataxia: presumably he is developing his faculties to compensate for the deficiency, as indeed one sees in disabled people. It’s a huge tribute to your care that he’s able, despite his disability, to go on to lead a full, normal beaver existence.

I think it's very interesting that Huckleberry would like to eat such resinous trees. I would have expected his favorite to be maple because it would be sweeter than the bitter pine trees and gummy aspen and birch. It seems like such a good natural balance to me that beavers might actually prefer to take down the fastest growing trees like birch, aspen, and pine, potentially making room for the longer lived ones like oak, walnut, and chestnut. But maybe it's just Huck's preference. It makes me want to know more about the beneficial role beavers play in building long term forests. BTW this is my favorite thing about this channel. I never would have thought to ask what kind of trees beavers like to eat most before I watched this video, now I have learned something new and have a bunch more questions I want answers to. Animal Wonders makes me a better, kinder, more curious individual. Thank you Jessie and everyone else at Animal Wonders.

2:10 Of course he saws the branches off at the base. He was born knowing that doing that will make the process of dragging the limb/tree easiest. That's also why he grabs them at the base and pulls, since it's the path of least resistance... Also: 2:43 "C'mere.... C'mere... Come on... Dis mine now."
