Maybe ride 10,000 miles first. Once you get used to it and NOT cocky, maybe then. Practice hard acceleration and braking. Slide the rear around in baby steps. When you are honest with yourself then and only then you can start doing this. I just want you to have a good fun experience is all.

It's impossible for me to tell any of my students how hard they should be pressing on the rear brake and how much gas to give it with my class eyeshadow my students on a bike next to them and give critique on each pass..... But pretty phucin hard on the rest brake my friends. I go through rear pads once a month at least

he doesn't hold it down, he covers it with his foot, not pressing it, he's just ready to press it. if you go too far back on a wheelie the only thing that'll save you is tapping the rear brake

You can't make a how to wheelie tutorial if you can't wheelie it yourself. I mean basically you're just telling them what to do not really showing us anything. I'd try getting some sticky tires and maybe seat bouncing and dropping the clutch to get it up
