Brilliantly filmed and I love how there is no music or narration. We felt like we were walking through Huddersfield. Awesome quality!!! I live in Tasmania, Australia now but was born in Huddersfield and lived there for 10 years. Normally I go back and visit every 5 or so years. As we are unable to travel atm these videos make us feel like we are there. Thank you so much

This footage is going to be historic in the context of the lockdowns. As deserted as it makes the town look, hopefully in future it'll look like it's improved a bit!

Huddersfield is the armpit of the uk. Kirklees council are not fit for purpose, even the council leader has run off with all the money, the whole town is full of scratters 100%

magnificent victorian architecture, souless concrete additions, massive bare pavements, this city needs trees. why do labour ruled councils seem to hate trees? thanks a lot for your great walk

RIP Laurence Furry. When spoons opens again it will not be the same. We need a statue of Laurence standing hand in hand with Harold outside the train station. No one man alone has had such an impact on the citizens of Huddersfield than old Laurence, maybe DJ Smile so we should have a statue of him too in front of the Harold and Laurence one with a constant boom box playing ''I am the main man in Huddersfield'' just so people know who visit leaving the station.

It’s over 20 years since I moved away from Huddersfield. Both King Street and New Street, weren’t pedestrianised back then and what’s happened to M&S 🤷🏻♂️ Looks like Woods music, is Dawson’s now. Good to see it’s still a music store.

Sad to say Dawson's now also gone. M&S left, it's now a B&M. Some great watering holes have survived, but retail appears to be circling the drain :(
