Today we went offshore about 65 miles south of Dauphin Island AL in search of Grouper, Seabass, and anything else that would bite. The technique being used is Slow Pitch Jigging and was definitely the most effective on this day. We tried Deep Dropping some cut bait and couldn't get anything anything to bite on that so we stuck with the jigs and had an Incredible day. The seas stayed under 1ft all day long and although it was very cold on the ride out to turned into a beautiful day.
