That pistol looked like a kit gun you could buy and assemble back in the day. My college roommate had one he sanded, stained and assembled years ago. You told that guy you would cut him out, but you left him in. LoL😅

I've recently become far more invested in Militaria in the past two months or so and I've added a whole load to my collection and I just recently discovered your channel and I'm loving it! Awesome to hear that you were in the Navy, I'll be going in this July and I'm real excited to get the chance to serve my country and travel the world. Were you collecting while you were in the Navy or some time afterwards? I plan to make the military a career but I'd also like to keep actively collecting. Just want to know your thoughts!

Hey there, congrats on your enlistment!! The Navy is a great way to see the world and also earn a good living. I was a NUKE on a fast attack submarine. I didn't start collecting/dealing until 1999 almost 6 years after I was out of the Navy. eBay started growing fast in 1999 and 2000 so I quit my job and jumped full time into selling on eBay. Depending on where you are stationed or what ports you visit, there are many military items to be collected. Maybe you will get lucky enough to be stationed in Europe and have access to all of the military fairs. Good luck and enjoy your career!!

I used to set up at friendship before covid. I hated it because you couldn't get cell service. I buy and sell a lot of stuff. I'm a wheel and deal kinda guy I want to sell everything so I can get new stuff ASAP. I collect militaria but I don't pay retail for it. Actually everything in my collection is something that has crossed my path not something I seek out. The only thing I buy at shows is usually scabbards to go with blades that don't have them. I buy a lot of storage auctions and sell at Awesome Flea Market or eBay. I started collecting third reich and trench knives unintentionally because you couldn't sell them on eBay. That progressed into a large collection. Enjoy your videos brother

You got some nice Flea Markets over there in the US. Pretty impressive how much german WW2-Stuff ends up on these Tables. The Knife laying around by that silly Pistol is a 'Reichsarbeiterdienst'-Blade. 'Arbeit adelt' means something like Work royalizes. Pretty chilling and relaxing Video. Informative to compare US and German Flea Markets as well. Greetings from Westphalia in Germany.

@@MuchachoMilitaria If you do so, check out pretty much every Flea/Antique-Market in the Netherlands or Belgium for WW2-Stuff. Here in Germany most of this Things are either scraped off or are well hidden under 1000 Blankets :)

At 21:04 that kind of thing is own about every household in finland (or anywhere where there is lot of snow in the winter) and in finnish those are called potkukelkka or in english kicksled. It is a sled, that you can stand on and someone can sit on the front, you can put something on it or you can sit down and take a rest. These are used during winter to go somewhere like shopping or going to school. You can search image in internet these being used when you use the english name kicksled. Hopefully this gives some information about this thing here in your video. And good video also.

Jesus that first guy was almost a walking stereotype, and most definitely the kind of guy who prices his items way too high like that "third reich" knife. 21:00 Those are called kicksleds over here in Scandinavia, they are pretty common and were used pretty extensively back in the day when roads get icy, can go pretty fast on them. Nowadays don't see many using them due to people using cars more. That one could've been brought or made by a Northern European settler back in the day.

So sad what these markets and gunshows have become, people just trying to sell fake stuff for x3 the price they got it off of Ebay for, and the other end of the spectrum is a bunch of garbage or irrelevant stuff, with the guise of it being "old" so it must be worth a lot! What a joke, I basically stopped going to my local gunshows. You find better deals online at this point.
