Thanks for the video, I bought a MOLLE assault pack yesterday and it works really well for short hikes.

Thank you for walking us through the pack... I just picked up one from my local army navy surplus for $60 just missing the rain cover flap...I feel lucky. I think you have done a great job except in one instance.. your multi tool is one of your most important and used tools ... IT should be a good one..Gerber Diesel or the large leatherman are great tools and although I managed to break a jaw on my Gerber.. That tool has been through hell and they replaced it for me free of charge no questions

It's a fantastic pack. You can carry a small child in it and won't feel the weight. Very nice clip- thanks.

@BeeHiking Thanks. I do have some of the elastic bands. I'm just nit picking a little on that point. I'll have to check ebay again for a lid. When I bought my pack last year they were asking more for the lids than the pack. Thanks for the care instructions and webpage info.

Oh good... you caught my humor about the rope. Real use is to hold up tarps from summer rain, or for a dog run. Enjoy!

The side, carrying handle that you refferred is actually an assistance device for loading the rucksack on your back you put your arms through the shoulder straps and while grabbing the handles flip the back over your head and let it slip down your back while you hold your arms up. Great vid by the way.

I just ordered mine and I can't wait. I'm even more excited after seeing this video. This will act as my bugout bag, then be used when I go backpacking/camping. Plenty of room and lots of organization options, which I love. Great vid, but maybe get a tripod cuz you're zoomed in really close most of the time and it's a little disorienting.

@DarcMac Good of you to listen... There are no mountains here in Florida. The main reason I carry the rope is to tie up shelter or my dog. Unfortunately I do not have any more of these in stock at the moment but you can check eBay to find some. I do have the smaller ILBE Field Pack in stock which I hope to make a video of soon. They are priced at $120 in great condition. The MOLLE does not compare at all.
