Nice truck.. I have an older F250 and a Mazda pickup.. both are good trucks to have around.. For me, the Mazda does the smaller loads, and the F250 does all the heavy work..

Do you have the older made in Japan Mazda or the rebadged ranger? I like the older Mazda 4cyl trucks. My dad sold Mazda and Isuzu in the in the late 80s so I was around them a lot as a kid.

Hope the truck proves out well. Sounds like most of the 6.0 issues have been addressed. I had 6.0 a few years and really liked it. Definitely in good condition for the age.

I hope so too. Its definitely clean. Its been in eastern VA its whole life so the snow and salt hasn't eaten it up like a lot of them you see. I should have fired it up on the video because it sounds nice, though my wife doesn't care for it.

great video. Your good people for taking into consideration those of us that work shift work. She will appreciate that greatly. Thank you!!!! Do you mind if i ask what equipment you use for filming and editing your footage.

My main camera is pretty old and outdated at this point, but still gets the job done. Its the Panasonic FZ-1000 (amzn.to/3WVU8sU) with a basic external mic (amzn.to/3Grn590). Last year I bought the new gopro hero 10 but hardly use it. For editing, I use Wondershare Filmora on a PC.

Not a bad price for the truck. Big trucks do have big repair bills. And they all break down. If you don't need the money, keep the Nissan and use it as a backup/daily driver. Having a smaller pickup is better then having a small car. Look forward to all the firewood videos coming up!

Catching up on KZitem after Christmas Season. A suggestion for longer term wood storage: Have you thought about stacking a double row of pallets along one of your fence lines? Especially for stuff you know will take longer than 12 months to season. Out of the way and uses up an area that's usually wasted. That's where we keep most of ours. The new truck is a dandy! I ran the guts out of a very good '02 F150 for 17 years before finally getting a '11 Chevy 2500. It made a lot of things much easier and safer for us. If you want to flip that truck for a good profit, drive it to the midwest and sell it. You'll get plenty more than you paid for that gem.

Hi David, happy New Year! I had wood last year on a fence row and will probably have some there again after I fill this hilltop up.

Great video, Phil. I think you did really good buying that truck. I think it would look awesome paired with a dump trailer for your firewood business. Keep up the good work.

Sounds like you (or someone before you) addressed the major pain points in these trucks. I have almost the exact same truck and love it. Some things are expensive to repair, but as stated, it sounds like someone addressed all that. Good luck!

Previous owner did all the work. The only repair I did after purchasing it was heater core replacement and fix coolant leak.
