I will never forget when an older guy at work told me that they found a western diamond back in a north Carolina grain silo that was over 28 foot long cause it ate all the mice. I could not contain the laughter

PS Puff adders have remarkably different personalities : some are super mellow, but others are rabidly psychotic.....rather like a bad tempered Taipan....I often encountered them during military ops throughout Africa.

I know this is outside of your field but could you talk about the new laws in Florida regarding exotic reptiles, they recently made all tegus, iguanas, larger pythons and anacondas (which were conditional) totally illegal unless if up for display, and they also changed the venomous rules a little bit. I think this is very important because it could effect other states in the future.

What is the most venomous, most defensive, front-fanged snake with no antivenom?
@Kitto0
4 жыл бұрын
Bushmaster fills most of your criteria One of the most Venomous ✅ Can be defensive & would lock on to your thermal readings like a heat seeking missile if its not in mood to be amused ✅ Front fanged (presuming you arent asking for fixed front fangs aka Elapids) ✅ No Antivenom (with fatality rate close to 92% in humans) ✅

@@venomman20 i didn't know that 🤔 Thank you for enlightening me 😊 I live in south africa and I've come across puff adders many times, in my experiences of them in the wild they're not as agro as a lot of people make them out to be. They're really cool snakes
@kJHauntedexplorers9394karlEpps

This from a venomous reptile page on google 100 percent The black mamba is Africa's deadliest snake. Untreated, its bite has a fatality rate of 100 percent, making it a killer among killers on a continent where it is thought that nearly 20,000 people die of snake bites each year, and the residents of Swaziland in southern Africa have suffered losses for generations.

watching you turn the camera on the second Eastern Diamond Back i was curious if Snakes ever strike at their reflections like some other animals will lash out at their own image i’m a mirror or window there is a video on You tube where a Aligator broke through a low window and wound up in some ladies kitchen in the middle of the night and the experts suspected that he was going after his reflection ? the Woman heard the noise and discovered a 8 foot Gator in the kitchen nobody was injured and the Gator was released safely in the wild by authorities

Depends on their body temperature, I would think. And king cobras would probably be more likely a species than a rattlesnake or a viper. Being a snake eater

I read your second comment and im open for discussion on that. That statistics is completely inaccurate i understand it is written on the internet and even a few books unfortunately it isn't factual. I can give you the real statistics if you would like when I'm off work. Which snake causes the most fatalities is really up for debate if you was to say sawscale I would probably side with you actually
