Yes totally! A good way to train this is to do the exercises a few times without the hoop before the workout. Get your body used to the action before you make it more complicated by adding the hoop. Then during the workout, concentrate on having your legs straight and your toes pointed. Even if I am lifting my leg in the video, take the time to focus on maintaining the hoop around the waist with your foot on the ground and good alignment: Square you hips, legs straight and strong and pushing from the belly. Then once you've got that down, start to do the leg lifts. Theres no shame in taking a step back in the exercise to build up the strength to take it to the next level! Hope that helps! 😉

Good morning I started my day with your 30 minute intermediate workout!!! I love the fast pace right off from the beginning!! Love always the challenge!!! It seems to be that my BAD SIDE gets confused with my GOOD side and I don’t know which one is WHICH anymore 😂thanks to you Scarlett!! I’m Doing well on both sides! 😅The Leg lifts are always a winner for me!! Fun and challenging with the backwards leg lifts!! I have to work on those!! Thank you!!! This one I saved and will be repeat it like your other videos!❤️

For a more intermediate / advanced workout like this one, I prefer to use a heavy dance hoop. This is better than a weighted hoop for this kind of workout as it allows you to move quicker between the moves. My hoop is 100cm | 39” diameter hoop with 25mm HDPE tubing, it weighs 620g. I made it from simple materials from the hardware store (Baumarkt).
