I was a teenager when hulkamania was the hottest thing. Now I’m 52 and he’s still intriguing. He’s a legend and he is the reason wrestling is where it is today. Austin wouldn’t have been what he was if hulk didn’t pave the way! And no one can argue that if it was Austin vs Andre it would have been remotely close. That’s a fact! Thank you HULK for many years of great wrestling! There will never be another Hulk Hogan.

Im 48 years old. Remember being a kid in the 80s. Remember this dude being larger than life. He was a nothing less than a damn phenomenan. Aside from Michael Jackson, no one man's name and influence on American culture was bigger than his at that time. There was no way back then i would imagine he would one day grow old. It was almost like a different life time. I mean remembering back to when I was a kid. Saturday morning main event. After watching cartoons and just forgetting about the dreaded "school". It's not always the most extreme things that damage the body. For example his leg drop damaged his back because he did it so much. Imagine dropping down to the floor butt first almost every day for 20-30 years. While it's not the flashiest or extreme move, it does damage on the back when done too much like Hogan.

@@originalmicdrop not all of them get millions of dollars. Thats a very small percentage and only the top top guys earn that. Not saying they don't make a great living because obviously they do but the psychical toll it takes after years is brutal. We see them as these larger than life people which is the illusion they want but when you see them older as we are and see the toll the business took on them its sad to see. Nobody wants to see their hero's broken and no matter how old we are those guys will always be a part of our childhood and seeing them broken the way they are sucks.

I love when Cornette spent that summer laughing at the stories coming out of that place.
