I love how we love to deflect that "BLACK PEOPLE ARE THE SAME". No, most are not, and overall, this is about Hulk Hogan and how so many of US easily forgiving people like Hulk Hogan just because he's also white. This also goes for much more crooked people, like how many of us easily forgave and want many others to easily forgive Carolyn Bryant because she's "old and sorry", despite being the cause of Emmett Till's murder a very long time ago, yet we immediately want someone like Bill Cosby facing severe consequences such as having him jailed and destroying his legacy for what he had done years ago and despite the fact that he's old.

We defend people who have killed with vicious intent, people who admit and refuse to give up on addictions, but when a celebrity says a word like this we want them to end their own life and for their career to be over. All of us are human, and we all make mistakes. I’m conflicted and it hurts to see this man who I idealized since I was little using that word then constantly hearing rationalizations for why whites say or do racist things and I’m supposed to just let it go. People change yeah I get that but man does it still boil my blood. I look in this guys eyes and I don’t see a hateful bone in his body. He’s not the perfect superhero I was a fan of as a kid he’s just a flawed human like the rest of us. I appreciate the fact that he owned up to what he said and feels bad about it. Wish people would stop using the n word in general both white and black. I’m black and I don’t use that word. It means black slave no matter the hard r or not. Blacks say they made it ours and it’s a term of endearment but when you see how it’s used for the most part it’s not. Whether black people know it or not it’s being used at its core as a word to describe basically a lower class individual
