It is common in human life to find in one person, qualities and feelings that are opposite of each other, and opposed qualities may exist at the same time. We may hate and love, or desire and fear someone or something, at the same time. This explains some of the peculiarities in or friends that we find most difficult to understand. Characteristic of the play of opposites is the existence, side by side with the instinct of self-regard, is the contrary instinct of self-abasement. By virtue of self-abasement arise a sense of humility, a realization of one’s own insignificance amid the vastness of the powers and the objects that are around us, and a sense that is sometimes felt of unworthiness within oneself. It is from this instinct that we develop, in part, a conscience. This critical faculty becomes a valuable guide to conduct, without it; we would become rather unpleasant people. This critical faculty enables us to harbor usefully social attitudes towards other people, to appreciate that their rights and concerns are as great as our own and often should have priority over ours, to allow that the opinions of others has the same claim to be respected as our own opinions and to be imbued with the sense of propriety which enjoins us to give and take, to live and let live and to care for the feelings of others. It must be recognized that, instinctive though a sense of self-abasement is, this critical faculty is undeveloped in young children, who simply do not possess the ability, spontaneously, to consider the requirements and difficulties of another, but must be educated to such considerate behavior by kindly and understanding parents who are aware of this absolute want in the child’s mind. Even up to the age of seven we should be wary of expecting any spontaneous realization on the part of the youngster of such abstract facts as mom is tired or dad is bushed, but these have to be carefully and considerately, explained to the child each time we wish him to make allowances for us. At a much earlier age, more tangible things like right of property are not understood, and baby will fail to contemplate the entirely different status of his toy and dad’s pipe. Mother is hurrying home with the youngster by the hand. He lingers to look at shop windows toys, while she, with many personal cares on her mind, is already late for her household tasks. So junior is enjoined to come on at once. He still hesitates, is scolded and finally slapped and is dragged along weeping, of mother and child, who has our sympathy? Surely, it is both of them, for each are faced with a problem beyond his immediate control. But the youngster certainly cannot help much at this juncture, for he is bored and feels a need merely to be interested in the things he sees and to play with them, while no critical faculty tells him he has a duty to think of his mother. Could she understand this, she would be in a position to deal with the situation more rationally to coax and cuddle. For a moment and while firm, explain the need to hasten. Stated simply, the child wishes to do whatever he pleases, but discovers that his mother disapproves of and prevents certain activities of his. Thus he feels the discomfort of frustration and reacts with anger, mounting at times to hatred of his mother. These feeling causes him to fear that she may cease to love him or that he will injure and lose her. Thus his undeveloped mind, but they would be unbearable if retained and so they are submerged into the limbo of forgotten things. This mechanism is technically called repression. As the years pass, these repressed emotions are crystallized into feelings o unworthiness, and provide us with the instinctive capacity for self-abasement. Sometimes this instinct of self-criticism makes life difficult for its owner, and probably is a slight over-development of it that explains the otherwise inexplicable distaste and discomfort that a number of us feel if we bring about a situation in which someone else is made to feel awkward or humiliated. With more marked degrees, we are presented with problems of acute self-consciousness, excessive shyness, guilt regarding supposed personal shortcoming and exceptionally, even a degree of melancholy. Such are your instincts, inborn and acquired, inherited by each of you from the past. Raw and undeveloped though they may be and overlaid and modified in later life by all sorts of experiences, educational, emotional and moral influences, they nevertheless provide the ultimate force behind the main stream of our actions and behavior. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. Then the greatest of these gifts lives within your brain. It is the creative part of you called mind. You can sense a cloud of swirling thoughts intermingling, changing and re-creating as it evolves. You choose which thoughts you will act upon. Study your thoughts and find the ones that are healthy for you. Discard the rest for a time when it is useful. Seek new thoughts from your peers and your elders and you will know wisdom. Your mind never forgets, what you teach it when it is young will influence actions unconsciously as it grows. This self-knowledge is essential to your peace for he who knows himself, knows the illusions of the world. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right.

We, the ethnic Armenians of the world, the people of Artsakh and Armenia, appeal to the whole world and international legal organizations with a request and hope to be heard! As you know, Artsakh and its 120,000 inhabitants (Armenians, Kurds and Yezidis) have been under a long blockade for more than 8 months. The last months have been particularly difficult and devastating, because in addition to the blockade, accompanied by daily shelling of civilians carrying out sowing work, there is shelling of civilians, and the disabling of equipment makes harvesting impossible, further exacerbating the situation with food shortages, in fact, artificially summing up it to the critical point. Due to the lack of food and medicine, which led to famine, three deaths of people have already been recorded, two of which are CHILDREN! Azerbaijan daily continues its policy of killing Armenians - the indigenous population of Artsakh, continuing to periodically turn off the supply of gas, electricity and water, calling the indigenous inhabitants of the region "separatists and extremists", thereby covering up its policy of terror and slaughter of the local population. Abductions of Artsakh residents from the checkpoint began to take place right in front of the Red Cross employees with the help of the Russian occupation troops. People are afraid to leave, as they may be held hostage by the enemy and feel absolute insecurity and uncertainty about the future. The people of Armenia and Artsakh ask you to play a decisive role in supporting and facilitating the recognition of the Independence of Artsakh, as well as providing humanitarian assistance and facilitating its transportation! You can stop the policy of the government of Azerbaijan and Turkey, which is aimed at destroying the sovereign people of Artsakh, by carrying out a new Genocide today, Turkey and Azerbaijan have practiced throughout their history. You can save thousands of lives! We expect constructive actions from the world to help Artsakh and its people. Thank you and looking forward to your feedback!

The instinct to herd. The tendency to congregate, to associate and operate in groups is a valuable attribute. We see its value in our own social intercourse and communal functions of many kinds. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of self-regard is a quality with immensely far-reaching possibilities. This characteristic naturally underlies the desire to excel, the ambition to succeed, the need to be well thought of, one’s self-respect and the necessity one feels, of being able to think well of one’s self. Everybody knows how children like to show off, when a little older, he has an ardent desire to succeed in play and later on, to win at games and competitions. The instinct remains a paramount quality during adult life and provides the driving force behind our attempts to climb the ladder of success in business, love, sports, society and motivates the higher qualities of generosity and self-sacrifice. When operation of self-regarding is interfered with, great disturbance to our mental composure will result. However, the positive propensities of the self-regarding instinct are particularly noteworthy, because they form a sort of psychological scaffolding upon which is raised the structure of our highest attributes of character. At the considerable personal sacrifice an individual performs service for another in conditions that, quite likely, there will not be any gain to himself, where there are no witnesses. In the beginning, a child seeks to please his parents and so to win their approval, and later on, he has learned to seek approval of his friends, and acquaintances by socially accepted conduct, to this there has been added the formation of ideals or the standard of the golden rule that we should do for others as we would have them do for us, and the instinct now operates to be worthy of approval in terms of these higher principles and so win self-approval or the satisfaction having done one’s duty, coupled with this , is the desire for divine approval or to be worthy of commendation of society, and the sense of one’s need to merit the approbation of those higher powers , human or supernatural, which we esteem so much. By this series of steps, have the finest qualities of human character evolved. It is the driving force of this innate instinct which impels us to be self-approving beings. Thus we find that by a process of development, the inborn urge to do well and to be well thought of has become a fountain from which have sprung moral qualities of the highest order. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right.

God Given Blessed Children, know that you are beloved before all others. You have been given gifts to aid you as you experience your life journey. These gifts are called instincts. Listen well as I will share this self-knowledge. First of these instincts is called self-preservation. When this instinctive force is aroused, you will feel emotions. If you perceive a threat you will react. If you feel well supported, you will fight, but otherwise you will run or remain calm in the hope that the threat will pass. Self-preservation helps you to feel fear or insecurity as a threat to your safety and well-being. Some children react by becoming surly, aggressive, stealing, bullying and so on. Others take refuge in the form of flight, becoming sad, frightened and very unsure of themselves. Infants cry. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of hunger needs little explanation when you see, right from birth; an infant makes it evident that they need nourishment. They cry. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of repulsion or disgust explains the distaste we intuitively feel towards crawling or nauseating things. It has a higher use in that it operates against the acceptance of nasty behavior and warns us to avoid noxious substances and acts. It also helps to deter us from crudity of habits like eating or drinking something that does not appeal to you. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct to crawl or to walk will aid you as you learn the world that you live in. Watch as the infant struggles to take its first step or the caged lion paces to and fro. Without this instinct, you may remain still and never seek out the materials you need or make intellectual progress. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of curiosity and wonder. Your response to this urge is when you see the child follows moving objects with its eyes. Then reaching out to pick up things to examine them or turn its head towards a sound. Curiosity and wonder are at the root of our aspirations to discover and to invention. We owe much of the research that has produced the material standards of civilized life to this instinct. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of rage. It is very important to the formation of personality, in consideration of mental well being. Anger plays a vital role in the life of a small infant and lays the foundation of future tendencies. When a child sucks at the breast, it is not merely having a meal. Into the suckling, the child puts all of its most intense feelings. The emotions of love desire and need for human companionship is present in the child as one intense, tremendous feeling. Much like libido, is a sort of pleasure feeling. If the mother considers he has had sufficient before he does, to the child, this is unjustifiable. At this point, the child will experience rage, emotion of such intensity is mingling hatred with the baby’s love of his mother and will certainly leave scares upon his mind if suckling is denied or forcibly ended repeatedly. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of sex. Understand that it doesn’t begin in puberty. It exists in early infancy a less specialized love and pleasure feeling called The Libido, which we may regard as the forerunner of the sex instinct. Sometimes, in children, this libido has an actual sexual coloration, while it is deeply entrenched in the relationships between child and parents. A very young child could be embracing its mother in bed intensely caressing and loving her with such a depth of feeling as only lovers can understand. If denied this companionship forcibly or otherwise, the child could experience indescribable, impotent rage in which he could suffer severe torment. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of acquisition is necessary to building up civilized standards. Without this tendency to gain and possess, we could be reduced to striving for the bare necessities of food, shelter and water. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right. The instinct of constructiveness. In the play of children, you see them build and make things constantly whether it is a tree house or a sand castle. It must be self-evident how great an incentive to progress this tendency has been. This is God Given and should be protected by law as a human right.

There is no such thing as universal human rights,..most of the human rights in declaration comes from western values,..which gives important to inviduality,..but other parts of the world like in INDIA🇮🇳 duties are more important,..in African nations community is important above individual right,..even though the declaration was formed by member states. Human rights are not a negative connotation, but the uniformity in implementing is needed...it should not be act as an tool for Neo- colonization. Actually many countries gone to war! You know with the cause of upholding basic human rights!
