Hummus ⭐⭐
Homemade Tahini:
4 tbsp roasted Sesame seeds
2 tbsp olive oil
3 pinch salt.
Blend to make a thick paste
Or you can skip this step and
Add all Tahini ingredients together while grinding chickpeas
Now in a chopper or blender add:
-Boiled chickpeas (Take 1.5cup unboiled chickpeas, soak over night and then boil them or you can use store bought ones too)
-Prepared Tahini
-1 tsp cumin seeds
7-8 garlic cloves
salt half tsp
lemon juice 2 tbsp
SECRET INGREDIENT: 5-6 ICE CUBES
It makes the hummus more creamy, more vibrant
If you want to skip the icecubes part, add chilled water
Start blending it for 15-20 seconds until you get the creamy texture.
Blend for few seconds and stop
It will take around 7-8 minutes.
Blend for few seconds and stop
Add 2 tbsp olive oil
Blend for few seconds and stop
Add 2 tbsp Olivie oil again.
Total oil added: 6 tbsp
Consistency gets more thick after some time.
Adjust everything accordingly, you'll love it!!!
Drizzle olive oil, paprika or cumin powder
Serve with Toasted pita Bread and veges of your choice
