I did not enjoy, I felt sorry for this person the whole 10min I've watched. How come his hijabi mom doesn't know that the people who fabricate stories to make others laugh (and make money out of it) are cursed by the Messenger?! We do Dawah only by following the methodology of the Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam. This guy is not successful, he is lost, as many Asians in the UK are. They lack proper Islamic knowledge.

@@vnikol-o7b great to see that you're role modelling the values and behaviours of being a Muslim by spreading negativity (calling him, and all other UK Muslims lost) and making a judgement on someone's intentions on why they make videos and why they entertain. Let's not listen to the fact that he's made children's books and has had an impact on a vast part of the world (not only the UK). Good on you - I hope you see what you're doing by making such comments.

I remember interviewing him in 2013 (when I was trying to be an apna journalist) and found him very polite and friendly. Really pleased he had supportive parents (financially and emotionally) to help him on his way. As a creative and someone who did Drama and had brief dreams of being an actor, I didnt have the assertiveness to take it further. Only wish he hadnt joined the Prevent initiative to help further stigmatise our communities, best left avoided.
