@@TheMW2informer yes it is, it doesn't matter at all if it was in an enclosure or if the capybara was force. Bids have been known to capture live prey and put it in their nests where theres no chance to escape and will either be pecked to death by baby birds, or fall to their death. And fish have been known to live in ponds(an area with absolutely no escape) only to get ripped apart by bears Nature is not fair, it being fair is a pure opinion, and an incredibly bad opinion at that. Nature has never been fair and it never will be. Deal with it.

People who associates this with their human emotions are just used to watch cats videos and selective wholesome animal "brotherhood". The animal kingdom(and insect) is brutally ruthless and ways unimaginable to any of you.

Training them like this teaches the jaguars how to deal with live prey, stalk and ambush quarry just like their wild counterparts. It helps them hone the skill of hunting which is what’s important so that even when they _are_ released and they _are_ in the wild where prey have an infinite amount of room to escape they’ll have learned how to stalk, pounce and kill unsuspecting animals. Implying they’ll starve just because they caught a capybara like they did here is a rather misinformed claim to make

Supertomiman They only did it this way because these jaguars are orphans and don’t know how to hunt yet. In the wild, they will starve to death before they learn. By teaching them to hunt gradually, they can be reintroduced back into the wild

No it wouldn't have, it would have ended the same regardless if they were in the wild or not. A capybara even with full adrenaline pumping(100% muscle strength activated and used) cannot outrun a jaguar. Ontop of the constant foliage for the jaguar to hide and ambush them in, it's way way WAY more likely the capybara would be caught and eaten than escape. 90 to 95% chance of getting caught and a 10 to 5% chance of escape approximately.

I just felt so bad for the capybara. Poor thing didn't know it was being stuffed into a deadly place. As much as these cats need to learn survival skills, prey aren't just there to be food for predators. Ugh I just feel so bad for prey in general because they were put on Earth just to be a meal to predators. You wouldn't put a jagaur into a cage with a deadly animal for a meal because, well, they just aren't meant to be eaten and I'm sure people would be more sad to see a jaguar being killed and chomped down than seeing regular ol' prey being killed. But these cats need the skills so there isnt really any choice but to use prey for hunting
@kennethsatria6607
6 жыл бұрын
Actually its more like herbivores are very plenty and some animals learned to use them as a resource, nothing is intentionally created to be anothers food. Its just life. Also Jaguars are the apex predator its not about it being wrong to let them get eaten its just that they dont as naturally become prey while learning to hunt is very important Plus they are a bit more endangered
