Hey liking your videos, nice n positive👌 I’ve got the little neo tamper and it works well , it is slightly too small but still nicer to use than the plastic one, cheers

Awesome thanks for watching my friend!!! I should give in and buy it. I heard a lot of people online say it was tool small but after 2 big Amazon mistakes it’s making me think twice. Hoons coffee Channel on KZitem talked about one from CREMA on Amazon but it’s $44

Thanks for sharing your experience with the 2 videos! Just got mine this week. Pulled some shot with the black basket and managed some good result. I learned that it is still essential to preheat the "thin" chamber extensively. I was able to get 92°C after 2-3 rounds of preheating with boiling water. After I dialed in the grind size I was also able to get the pressure to be around the desired range. I used 12g of lightly roasted beans (still espresso of course), got 30g liquid out and it tasted fine. I'll try filling the basket instead of weighing them and maybe some dark roast later.

That is awesome!! thanks for letting me know. I think there’s a learning curve and I’m kind of happy about that in a good way the challenges what makes it interesting. off camera. I’ve played a lot with it and definitely got it to give me some pretty decent results. The hardest thing is I really like a big pull of espresso i’m always gonna love my daily driver in my manual Delonghi. But I really dig pulling it this way. No way to say it, but it’s fun getting in to it. That’s really good advice. I think I really need to get that chamber hotter.

Great video, I will wait until it becomes available in my country. Question: What is the water temperature you are using? Does this machine you use reaches near 96º? Thanks, keep it up!

Hey thanks for watching! I think at the high settings it’s 96-99 degrees. I haven’t put a temperature probe but I should check it one day. I have a gear luck with the casabrews 4700. I thought about getting a temperature controlled kettle just for the Flair Neo. What do you brew your coffee on today?

@@FaithAndCoffeeBean hoping u find what u need..a grinder is another one I invested more then I hoped to when I first purchased but again u get what u pay for and it’s one of the most crucial parts of an espresso getting that grind correct..paying extra for quality that will last will save money in the end having to replace budget item after budget item in the long run

Hey bud, I would just get the one on the Flair website. It looks good to me, and that size is not going to be too common, so the one they offer should be a perfect fit.

What’s hard is the one they sell is made for the classic a lot of people are saying it’s to small. Lol it’s the goldilocks of tamper hunts 😂👍🏽

@@FaithAndCoffeeBean The one I looked at is under the Neo Flex accessories. I imagine it should be perfect. Send them an email.
