I fancy myself as pretty good at coin and relic hunting and this video taught me a thing or two. I did not realize that as the iron/nails thin out I need to slow down even more. I hunt with my audio gates wide open on my Deuse. I want to hear everything. Also on my xterra 70 with 6” 18.5 round.coil. Great video thanks

Great info Keith. I almost always turn off the iron category by setting the volume at 10 on the F19. Big mistake I guess. At least I have the option of turning it down at a lower volume which is what I am going to do from now on.

Keith, please will you start doing more videos again please. I'm one of the 'old-brigade', so the b-s YTbers so-called metal detecting channels bore me. There's only one genuine tester up and running just now, so you and him would be great for us real detectorists of the 'old-school'. Thank you Keith. All the best from me in the UK.

Keith, you do a great job of testing detectors, are you going to do a before and after on the minelab equinox software update?
