Good stuff. I was there; it was my first jam convention. CW is my interest so it was good to meet Howard of LICW in person. I’ve been taking their beginner classes for a month now. And Cathy signed me up in SKCC. Nice, helpful folks. Can’t wait to get on the air. Copying is a challenge!

Congrats on your first Hamfest. It was ours as well! Howard and Cathy were a treat to meet and hear their stories. Good luck on your CW journey and the best practice is to just go for it and get on the air. Learn to send "New to CW" HiHi!!! Everyone slows down and is very patient :-) 73, Becky es Mike

What a great video from the Ham Radio Duo. I love it. Cathy is a gem. I'm a member of the LICW club and SKCC. Great people. Howard is the most wonderful person, he did a great thing by starting the LICW club. There is a YL group meeting on Monday night but, it is kind of late for me. I may go back to the meetings. You only live once. Thank you again for the video.

Yes, I remember that. "Why do I have to learn this code stuff? I just want to get on the air!" Well... Today I was tuning around and came across W1AW code practice. "Man, I'm gettin' rusty, I don't remember 35 WPM being that hard to copy." Gets to the end... 40 WPM. "Well OK, then!" 😀

@@HamRadioDuo With a really clear, strong signal and much concentration I can get maybe 80% at 35 WPM, but I'm much too "fumble fingered" to send that fast!
