This video shows a few of Affinity Building Systems' modular homes that were built prior to Hurricane Ian making landfall in SW Florida (September 2023) and withstood the catastrophic winds and flooding caused by Ian. The homes sustained no structural damage, only losing a few shingles. Unfortunately for many, Hurricane Ian's destruction caused devastating losses. Affinity Building Systems is currently working to rebuild many of the homes that were destroyed in the area by using its durable modular construction techniques that can withstand up to 180+ mph wind speeds and can be engineered to be placed on elevated foundations, along with using impact resistant windows and doors. This footage was taken in November 2023 after Hurricane Ian made landfall.
Affinity Building Systems is a leading manufacturer of high-performance modular structures for single-family or multi-family residences, hospitality, and commercial structures such as offices, hotels, apartments, etc. Our modular buildings are built to the same building codes as traditional site-built construction, oftentimes undergo more stringent inspections throughout the building process, and are financed as "real property" just as site-built homes are. Our structures can be placed on a variety of foundations, such as crawlspaces, pilings, or stilts. Affinity Building Systems is based in Lakeland, Georgia and provides modular buildings to independent, authorized builders throughout the Southeast. If you would like the opportunity to shorten your re-building timeframe, please call 229-482-1200 or fill out the contact form on our website (AffinityBuildingSystems.com), and an Affinity representative will reach out to you.
