Nice looking saw...like to see it with a full wrap handle...and more aggressive dogs.

Well, I see it more and more on KZitem already. They roll them out the factory in batches of a 1000 per time, so it won't be long before any modded saws show up. Outside and inside. Hotsaws 101 seems pretty skilled in porting these newer types. Exterior parts can be done with brand products by just about every owner. What I don't understand though, how and why are they working with 2 different producers for their light bars. Same lay out, 2 brands. Tsumura for the european market, sugihara for north America.....

@@DUTCHHUSKY66Treesandforest Yes I know there pretty new on the market sure we will see a West Coast logger set up...full wrap handle with aggressive dogs...you said that they are putting both brands of Japanese light weight bars on the saws that's interesting maybe there's a COVID storage or just trying both out see which one holds up better....Yes hotsaw builds some nice saws..use to work on my saws in the 80s and 90s...port and air systems..these days the factory saws are much improved.. don't mess with much any more.. ...power vs longevity...want my saws to last....thanks again for the response take care be safe in the woods.Shoe

@@robertshoemaker6204 from what I've heard, a good ported saw will have more air and fuel with oil through it, thus make it run cooler, which will improve its longevity... Here in europe though not many are ported. No one really does that professionally here, nor does our wood require it. Those bars might indeed have something to do with covid. Not enough workers per factory to make it happen in time, so that might explain the use of both those brands. They are not fans of each other though, I've written to yugi sugihara some years ago. Talked about their bars, and also mentioned the tsumura brand. After that he sent me an internal info sheet on why the tsumura's aren't any good in their opinion. So I am curious how husqvarna works around this rivalry. Been nice talking to you! Stay safe !

@@DUTCHHUSKY66Treesandforest Yes great chatting with you...so my experience with porting saws...yes you get more power out of them...I liked a mid port job the saw will last so much longer a max type port job...no doubt tons more power but saw life is greatly diminished...these new saws the Stihl 500i Husky 572...seems like the factory already has them pumped up pretty good of course you can work on them an squeeze more power out of them but at what cost to the longevity of the saw. Yes Hotsaw seem very knowledgeable when it comes to a build. Also where you at I'm in Southwestern Oregon. Shoe
