Great info I have a dehumidifier were I work in a hotel for the indoor pool all the fins on the condenser are disintegrated will the system still work

It will not work very well. It needs those fins to disperse heat. I'm sure the evaporator fins are not too good either?

Micro channel can be problematic, it needs to be protected from any damage. I will not install if given a choice!!! Durability and longevity are key and I don't see either from this technology? 🥃🥃🍺🍺🍺🍇🎳😐 Stay safe. Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses.

Main problems I see are at the connections from copper to aluminum piping. I've seen plenty clog up and plenty ruined by the wrong cleaner. Seems to be the way the manufactures are going now.

Forgot to tell you Ty, I got my job link probes set. Tried them out on my own system and it was awesome to get all the diagnostics right on my screen. My home system is running efficient and all good.! After your videos it definitely was cool knowing what the refrigerant was doing.

THE MICRO CHANNELS CLOGG UP WITH MUCK AND SLUDGE ON THE INSIDE OF THE SYSTEM AND THEY SUCK WITH 400 PSI GOING THRU THEM!!!! MICRO CHANNELS ARE TRASH FOR R410-A!!!! MICRO CHANNELS WORK FINE WITH LOW PRESSURE NOT HIGH PRESSURE!!!!

Hi Ty - It occurs to me that if you had a thermal imaging camera you could show the temperature distribution across the evaporator and condenser coils. Then, for example, you could intentionally starve a coil and show how the temperature distribution changed as a result. - Cheers - Jim

Hello Ty, for the evaporator coils diameter should it be bigger or smaller than the suction line diameter to be brazed with ? And also the same question for the condenser with the discharge line ? Thanks

That's a great question. This is where we have to refer to the installation manual. It will have a chart for what evaporator and condensing unit is pared together. From that it will show what suction line and liquid line is needed. Too small and you will loose capacity, too large and you will loose oil. Never go by the sizing of the EVAP or condenser alone.

@@love2hvac I really love the videos. I have been installing heating and cooling since the mid 70s as a young kid with my dad in the business, been on my my own for many years, As a kid my dad was always in a rush to get the job done and never explained everything like you do, Thanks so much.
