*Love the size and it fits perfectly in a corner but **Fastly.Cool** the whole room. Really like how you can auto adjust how long you want the fan to be on. It is quite but highly effective.*

Thank you so much! I was packing the car today, heading for the dump, and had my Lasko heater in there because it kept shutting off after about two minutes. A little voice in my head said "did you look on KZitem?" Well, no, I did not! I found your video, took the heater out of the car, and I'll clean it out over Christmas break. Thank you for saving me from having to buy a new one!! Update: I did it!! The hardest part was having to buy a star-end Allen wrench. The hex key set, even though it was a long-handled 3/32", only removed about half of the screws. The star end T15 wrench worked. Thank you SO much.

YOO! Because of this video I was able to resurrect my heater !! 🥰 I had actually cleaned the squirrel cage before I came across your video, but it still wasn’t working. It wouldn’t even kick on at all. Only the red light came on. But after watching your video, I saw you went all the way back to the coil. I had to take it all apart and give it another go, just to see if this could be the issue and just like in your video, my coil was packed with dust. 😮 When I turned it back on, I was frustrated because I didn’t hear a fan kick on so I cursed at it and just assumed it was beyond me saving it. But then I walked by the heater a few minutes later and realized it WAS WORKING!! I am just so use to my heater being loud-most likely do to it chugging bc of how dirty it was. It’s so quiet now it threw me off for a bit. 😂 Thank you so much for putting this video out to the world! You saved me money, I learned something; and it keeps one extra thing out of the landfill. ❤

I am horribly embarrassed this is my issue. I clean my fans regularly as well as my sewing machine. But I didn't think about the heater. So glad it's an easy fix as well as deeply satisfying to clean. I love my heater. It is my bathroom heater for sauna tub time.

Two heaters bough less than 2 years ago and sparing using in bedrooms over winter months in Texas. One stopped with no light. The other one shut down with light on. Although, one of them turned on after unplugging and restarting but I threw both of them out as it could be a fire hazard. I have seen plenty of reviews on Amazon about Lasko tower heaters starting a fire at socket.

I have a Lasky, slightly different model but not as tall. It was working fine and I accidentally knocked it over the other day while it was off. I tried it after it fell and the red light went on and it beeped but there is nothing working on the display nor do the buttons work to turn it on. I opened it and cleaned the fan cage, but didn't know to clean the ceramic part underneath. Anyway when I plugged it back in I still got nothing. Any ideas what it could be? Someone mentioned a safety switch on this comment section in case it gets knocked over. Where is that?
@JumpermanTech
3 жыл бұрын
The ceramic part is the most important for cleaning. Dirt doesn't seem to be your issue. Unfortunately I can't really say without checking it myself. If there's a safety switch that could have you locked out if it has that tripping safety. There should be a Lasko technical support number you can call. They would have the best answer for you👍 Thanks for watching!

@@JumpermanTech i took it apart again today. I got to the heating element and it was surprisingly clean under there. I found out what the issue was. I finally decided to remove the control board to inspect the welds. So,, when I took off the control panel one of the soldiered wires was loose so I re-fastenrd it an viola its back up and running again. I ran it for awhile until the cleaner I used all burned off. it wasn't just ethyl alcohol spray. I didn't notice it had glycerine and lemon scent in it.. I cleaned the fins out with it because it said it was for surfaces and hands lol I let it dry real good then tested it and it smoked a little bit because of the additives. Once it heated off in a few minutes, it stopped. Any way I'm so glad it's working again. Yay. It was a dark purple wire that attached to the board. It got loosened but not detached.
