Such a good use case review! Right now I’m struggling to choose this bladder over the sea to summit watercell, so every little bit of info backed with experience is so important for me, so thank you!

That.....is pretty awesome. Looks pretty durable, as in it might be able to withstand a short drop if full. I was looking at those dromedary bags several months ago.

Thank you ! The dromedary bags are great and very durable if weight isn't a big issue. I put the squeeze on this one but wasn't going to throw it off of the tractor :) I really liked the plug and play nature of this one. If you decide to go the dromedary route let me know and I will email you the vendor info for the adapters to use a filter setup. Thanks for sharing !

@@Ron_C Thank you ! This setup has streamlined it a bit and the UQC connectors are similar to air fittings in the ability to self seal to degree when inadvertently decoupled on the female side. My setup on the dromedary bag is similar but less light in weight and requires a few more adapters for the same functionality. Of course it all sucks bad when it is freezing out :)

Original video is 4 years old, how’s holding now? I just ordered it. Great details as I was wondering if hanging it upside down by the blue strap only would eventually damage it, one thing you didn’t mention is that by being black it can heat up your water for a quick shower if placed in the sun. Thanks for a great video.👍🏻

The fittings are UQC fittings sawyer sells them as pn # SP115. The tubing is something you can get at the hardware store and having the fittings in hand helps. Thanks for watching !

I use polident denture cleaning tablets. They are cheaper than the camelbak ones and do a good job. Drop a couple into a bladder of water and let it sit for a few hours. Drain and rinse well. Hang to dry. Thanks for watching !

@survivalcomms

Thank you ! The spout for the camelbak line is just a coupler from Camelbak in bright colors. They are available on amazon The inline filter that plugs in was from Geigerrig. You can use a sawyer filter if desired as well. Thanks for watching !

Amazon has them. The least expensive option including a hose is the platypus big zip evo water filter kit is $9.95. You can get the connector set alone for a bit less. The aquamira UQC works good. I hope this helps
