Love it! I just made a pvc spray bar for my canister filter and it would look so much nicer like that! Might need to make another and swap it out! How long does it need to cure before adding to tank?
@ChattanoogaEd
Жыл бұрын
I would give it a good 24 hours but honestly 6 hours is probably OK. Don't wipe any of the water off because you'll pull the spray paint off you need to let it harden on its own you can you could shake it a little but I just set it down and air dry it with a fan. But thank you so much for actually letting me know you've tried something I do it makes me feel good.

Oh something else I forgot to add to the video is it's better to do it in warm water. The emulsion will stick much better if it's over 75

@@ChattanoogaEd okay cool, thanks so much, I’m so excited to try this out! Thanks for the awesome ideas- so glad I found your channel. My latest project I’m having fun with is black lava rocks glued together with silicone, and making caves or hides, then stuffing mosses in the crevices. My kuhlis and corys absolutely LOVE them and each one is unique. :)

I plan on using lava rock later today I'm gonna glue plants to it and then bury most of the rock under the substrate. Trying to make a desert look.

@@ChattanoogaEd nice- it’s got so many uses, and cheap too! Lol. My local landscaping supply lets me fill a 5g bucket with whatever I want for $10 bucks. Can’t beat that!

That log is bad a$$! If a guy, an everyday Joe such as myself, were to send you a piece of pvc, might one Chattanooga Ed be winning to dip it? These are rhe questions that run through my head! 😝
