Its a decent bike, and the options for new cruisers of any engine size at that price point are practically nil, but if you went for 2nd hand you could get a lightly used Rebel 500 for that money.

The honda cb300r is a single cyl, this one is v twin and that's huge I think. That's why I think even the gv125 is a great bike, vtwin sounds so much better than a single cyl :D Probably makes it smoother as well

actually , you could buy one of these and add to your fleet as a hack bike = for about town , then sell in a couple of years time to upgrade , or for a first time buyer it could be their pride and joy with that low seat height , easy riding position and proper sounding v twin ,, win win ???

I really like your vids, thanks. I'm going today to look at the Aquila 125 and also the Sinnis Outlaw (+ Mutt Mongrel check-out to follow). Any thoughts on a side-by-side comparison?

Bear in mind you could also pick up a slightly used Honda rebel 300/500 for fairly similar money depending on where you live.

Question it looks to me that you carnt put a paddock stand on the rear as I dont see anywhere on the bike to put rear bobbins on it and that on the clocks there is a gap on the join where water can get in thanks percy

Hey ER, how are you keeping? I know you get this a lot, especially about Chinese bikes (which I appreciate this is not), but do you get the same sense of brand value/love of the machine when you ride this, that you do from your Honda or your BMW. I know it’s a subjective thing, but when I ride my BMW I find myself glancing down at the badge every now and again, and I get a little buzz. Same when I drive my Defender. It’s part of the package. I get people buy Korean cars, but I get the feeling that they are generally people who don’t like cars! (Too harsh?!)

Hi Chris, All good mate. This time of year is always a challenge getting the content out and feels like there is a lot of effort but no ones watching ...comes with the process. I know what you mean with what you say there. For someone who is a newer rider then yes they would get that feeling. For me I like the bike but I have progressed past this point and I get the feeling you mention when I see my BMW...and like you say the badge as well....hard to explain isn't it. I have a friend with a Defender, great vehicles and going up is price hugely!!!!! Darren who I did that interview with loves his Hyosung 125 in the way were talking about and also owns a Vulcan as well. They deserve to do well but its a uphill struggle with these bikes at the end of the day. But they are very reliable more so than some of the 10k plus bikes Ive ridden with all there silly unreliable electronics. There is a huge market for the 125, not so much the 300 in my opinion due to the price point is too close to others but still.... Hope your well mate Cheers

Hey mate, great to hear from you. I’m so pleased the manufacturers are sending you bikes. Proof of concept right there! I can appreciate it’s much harder this time of year. I have to drag myself out sometimes, but it’s especially hard when it’s not your day job! Makes it harder to be a fair weather rider (like me!)... Don’t worry, your loyal subs will keep watching!! :) I love my Defender... it was a car I’d wanted to own since I was a little boy. Mine was one of the last off the line, a 2016 model year. I think it probably is worth more now than I paid for it. About the only thing I’ve ever bought that is appreciating in value! Take it easy matey. Stay well. The dreaded lurgy seems to be spreading fast again!
