I got this keyboard for Christmas... I am returning it. The switches are so easy to press, you can rest your hand on it and they activate. I cannot imagine typing up an essay or doing something for school on it. I also tried gaming with it while the rgb is the best I have ever seen, the keycaps are to small (they are more rectangular than squarish) and the actuation force is to low. I found myself walking of map borders and constantly running into walls because i rested my finger on A while holding W. I do not recommend this keyboard for either casual gamers or hardcore gamers unless all you want is for your experience to be harder and less enjoyable.

@@leiflala Since they never did, I'll do it. It's a nice keyboard, like the review says. It's made of aluminum all around, and it has a nice texture, it isn't completely smooth metal. The switches are nice and so is the RGB. I've had no problems with the software, maybe there were some updates. For under $100USD, it's a good buy. I bet you already bought a keyboard since you posted this comment 6 months ago, but for anyone else reading, it's a good keyboard that I'd recommend buying.

mane, i've eyeing the alloy origins for months but can't start throwing my money cause I'm also waiting for their double shot pudding keycaps to be available where i live and they don't seem to restock anytime at all.

had this keyboard for about 2 years. has been PERFECT. its not indestructible tho. if you rage it will get damaged, its handled extreme amounts of punching tho. few cracked keys and broke foot but works fine

Hey brother, only just came across your channel! Just subscribed. Nice to see an Aussie doing well. Would you choose this keyboard or the Tecware Spectre Pro you reviewed in late 2019? Or any others for gaming, I'd be interested in hearing about. Thanks mate!

Okay so i bought this keyboard yesterday and went with brown keys, so far im very happy with it. Sleek design and good built, however my only complaint with this is that at times i'd get slight static shocks if i touch the outer sides of the keyboard which can be extremely annoying.

I was thinking about getting this keyboard soon but am not sure if I should go for the tactile Aqua switches, or go for the linear red switches. Any feedback?
@drph5306

i've tried the red switches one, it's very good for gaming but for typing i mistyped a lot coz the switch's so light even a slightest touch would register a keystroke. So if u're going to use it more for typing than gaming i would suggest the tactile one

Only "gamur" keyboard I'm interested in is the Steelseries apex pro with contactless switches. Chyrosran22 said the switches were smooth as, so I'm interested in trying them out.

What kind of size or brand would be the best to buy? I don't know that much about mechanical keyboards but would really like to know which ones are the best. For the type of games, I play MOBA's and FPS games.
