Went to change the chain. Put new one on. I thought i had it all lined up with the new tensioner and chain on. Went to turn it over slowly by hand 2 revolutions to see timing marks lining up, it skipped over some teeth somehow even with the new chain, Then the crank stopped turning. (Valve hitting pistol) Now what do i do? Im stumped. Can i take chain off and move the crank and cams independently to proper spots, and put it all back?

I put a new tensioner on and it did the same thing as this one, it was defective and screwed up the valves

With a timing belt it might of jumped a tooth, if you can remove the cover and check for a missing tooth on the belt, if its possible.

I believe there was, it turned out to be a warranty issue and the engine was replaced
