As someone that owns both, we chose the EV6 for myself for the performance and sportiness. The Ioniq was the chauffeur driven car for the parents. After owning them for some time, I can safely say, if you want comfort, get the Ioniq. If you want performance and style, go for the EV6. You’d be surprised how much those rear seat heaters come in handy. My mother, like most mothers, gets cold easily. So those seat warmers come in handy when you need to set the climate control to a cooler temp and it can compensate for people who do feel cold. Also for those wondering about the range, both the cars can give about 480-520 km easily under normal conditions. I have not tried a purely efficiency driven run though.

makes no sense. The rear seat of the ioniq 5 is literally unusable, as someone coming from a crysta, the car throws the rear seat passenger at triple digit speed, the rear passengers are tossed in the air on slightly bumpy road. Very uncomfortable

Literally everyone comes to an EV real world test videos to see the range. And absolutely no time spent there other than a single statement

A single statement summed up our test. What brief description were you expecting about the range?

@@GavinRodrigues no one trusts the claimed range. The whole point of real world tests with EVs is to show some real world range with some kind of drive

To start off, it's good to see that we already had Indian version of Top Gear which I'm not aware till this point of time😂. In addition the overall plot, content is soothing and especially the host Gavin scored a bit more points because of the way he carried himself through out the whole video and being spot on with his view on both the cars is commendable. Appreciate his efforts he put in and I think it's well paid off and he made to have my first comment in KZitem😅

"I've spent many hours sleeping in the car while it charges" said no one who owns a gas power vehicle. Which is why these cars are not selling in the eastern US. So many dealers have large inventory of 2024s and 2023s and are offering 10k off msrp up front. Don't get me wrong, I've driven them, they are phenomenal vehicles. But most consumers want to have the ability to fuel up quickly and easily when taking road trips. And the charging network is not there yet.

To people who are watching this and wondering if they should shell out that much for the Ioniq 5, let me add a new dimension for you. In October 2022 I got my MG ZS EV for approx 27 lacs on road in Delhi. Here are my findings, a) Drive - I came from a lovely petrol Elantra and the drive adds dimensions b) Suspension - Not its strong suit but very comfortable over potholes and speed breakers c) Looks - Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder d) Value - are you kidding me? Ive done a review, do check e) Sound system -> 5/10 f) Mileage? 330 in winter, 300 in summer g) Charging time? Approx 7 hours 20 to 100 but dont charge to 100, charge to 90 h) Overall? Paisa Vasool. Ive done 16000 kms so far. I don't do out station trips. It drops my son to school daily. Takes me reliably to Gurgaon for whiskey hunts. Takes me to work in noida daily. Approx 50km average daily. Cheers.

The EV6 looks a lot like the Porsche Taycan especially the front three quarter angle. And yes the Ioniq 5 has slightly Lancia Delta Integrale vibes from the rear three quarter angle. Also a lot like that Honda E on a larger scale.
