Asked by the host Ama Papabi, as to when he adopted the name “Bardman Tinny” and what Bardman means, he said “bard” is just an acronym, which means beyond every reasonable doubt, touching on how his passion to do music came about, the host first reminded him of how she use to watch him, she and other kids actually witnessed his performance as a boy at the infamous Kidafest that was held at the Ghana National Theatre, Tinny added that he and SHE, the famous music backer sang the theme song for Kiddafest and that was where his passion for becoming a musician was cultivated.
As to how he penetrated through main stream music with Ga language, which is factually not widely spoken in Ghana, the Aletse Kampke crooner said that he actually recorded his first full album in Twi, but had to switch to Ga to stay original, he said the likes of Hammer of the last two really played a key role in him getting the success he chalked.
The interview was quite a lengthy one, dropping major exclusives, first time on Lucky TV, including what project he is currently working on.
Lots of surprises were sprung on him, with phone interviews from the legendary beat maker Hammer of the last two and Appietus, sharing their experience working with Tinny and how great of a creative person he is.
