When I was about 13, I also got electrically shocked from a badly maintained socket at my grandma's old house. I know exactly what you mean by having so many thoughts yet not being able to pull away. Luckily I was ok, but I remember not wanting to plug anything in for ages and when I finally did I was so careful.

Did anyone ever tell you their own view of what happened to you - from one of your friends who were there? I wonder how long you were unconscious, and how you got released from the handle. Were you still in pain the next day?? Any lasting effects?

I died of a drug overdose when I was 20. I went out of my body high above the place I lived and was flying towards a bright city. I didn't hear a voice, or anything like that. I felt free. As soon as I got close to this bright city. I came back into my body in an ambulance.

Dude you held back the most important part of the NDE. It's not they dying part that is extra-ordinary... I was at a carnival at 8 years old when something similar happened. I never passed out, they cut the power in about two minutes and then I just ran away... no the amazing parts of an NDE is when you are the other side..after the white/dark happened you had a personal audience with you know who... but at times he will not let you remember it.. A few are permitted to remember, the ones who need that encouragement to keep pressing on. Anyway. Glad you made it through and hope you keep sharing the great memories. :)

When you describe everything going white, that happened to me a few times. Once I almost passed out at ACL fest cause I was sick and took some cold medicine and went to the fest anyway and the heat and dehydration got to me. Suddenly everything was black and white, the color left, and I started having tunnel vision and cold sweats and I had to sit down. Peoples voices sounded very far away. My friends got me some water and after awhile I felt good enough to walk and I grabbed a cab and went home to rest. It was such a surreal experience! Glad you survived and are here with us now!

OMG thank god you survived, what a terrifying experience. I’m sure if your parents found out you’d never have been allowed to leave the house ever again - ironic the first time you’re allowed out for the night, you almost die! 😨 On a side note, it’s so obvious you are into making movies n stuff, because you really paint a picture when you tell a story! I would definitely like to hear more, any of your crazy experiences, from childhood or otherwise. I’d also be interested to find out what you think about the “paranormal” and if you’ve ever had any encounters that could be within that realm...?! 👻👽👹

At this moment in the story (3:43), I just knew you were going to say you got electrocuted! I had a really similar electrocution situation happen to me with an electric fence at a friend's house when I was kid, probably 9 or 10 years old. Really similar, down to detail of my friend saying something that I didn't catch before it was too late. I was only lucky that I didn't grasp around the fence. I think about how bad that could have gone all these years later and I'm so thankful that I survived that and I'm thankful you survived yours, too. Thanks for sharing, I haven't thought about my own incident for a while and now I'm feeling very inspired to write about it.

i had that happen as a child, but i was stepping onto the step to go in the camper (it was a rented one). Some how it just knocked me off the step on my ass! That’s crazy! So glad you’re ok!!! You probably should’ve gotten looked at by a doctor, right? Damn kids ;) so scary. I get insane electric shocks- I’ve never been electrocuted but I know that fear of going near things....I turned off a tv once (remember the old cable boxes that used to sit on top of the TVs back in the 80’s/90’s) yeah I got a massive shock on it once while changing the channel, that it actually turned the cable off and it was that black and white static screen.... got shocked on water from a faucet once while washing my hands...not the faucet- THE WATER. And Once I was standing near a radiator, about 6 inches away. Saw a 6 inch blue line of electricity go from the radiator to my thigh... I was like 😳 I felt like Raiden and shit... ⚡️
