You guys are great, I watch you daily, but sometimes you are a little over the top in love with too many prospects! 😀On this clip, you show the same goal so many times, and that play alone does not leave the impression that Koivu is a beast!!! I was expecting to see many plays, a sufficient demonstration of his intensity and skills so that one could be impressed and come to a conclusion like the title suggests. That being said, call this constructive criticism! I have tremendous respect for your passion, your love of the CH, and your daily work to provide us with excellent and entertaining posts.

I hope not, Marner is afraid of going to corner. Koivu i have feeling that he is a fighter. Can actually can go to corner and win the fight unlike Gallagher.

Other opinions are important. Pornman isn't a Habs fan and his opinion may be more balanced. I personally think that Ottawa is a definitive threat to the Habs dreams. They have an incredible pool of elite talent and thought things have not yet gel together, it will eventually and it will be scary. He is right that we haven't yet fully evaluate Demidov and Hutson's true potential. Reinbacker is ranked 67th in the U-23 ranking.. In Montreal we tend to get hyped easily and sort of forget that other teams have really good prospect pools.

As always Josh & Jesse love your enthusiasm. IMO expectations regarding Laine need to be tempered. He has had mental health and physical issues so suggest not to over hype as that will increase expectations and the boo birds will come out should he get off to a slow start. Laine has not played a full season since the 2018 season when he scored 30 goals. We can prorate what he would have scored if healthy however that is theoretical. As fans we do same analysis with Dach. Therefore before saying Laine will surpass 44 goals (and Dach will get 50+ points ref other podcasts) lets first see if these two can stay healthy.

Baffles me how many observers like Pronman can't seem to see the major differences between Matthew Tkachuck and his much less ice-smart of a younger brother. The number of useless, badly timed or downright stupid penaltys Bradys collects like a hoarder amassing trash all through the season makes him a liability. That being said, that Ottawa team was badly managed and things are definitely looking up.

When are you guys going to stop publicizing the Athletic? Both Wheeler and Pronman could care less about the Habs, the players, the city and the franchise. Both these players have gone out of the way to dismiss the habs. They ridiculed picks, aborted support for Mailloux until last season…yet they devoted less than 100 words on his transformation. They fail to mention Florian’s impressive growth and point totals. Nor have they mentioned HuGo least it takes away from the Leafs and Oilers. These 2 clowns who represent the Canadian NhL stories are not true hockey writers. True in the sense they can write honestly about a team. To them the Habs are an inconvenience and it shows through their rankings of players. Enough support for Wheeler and Corey. Let them get their own podcast. They’ll do well in Toronto,

I like the Habs Digest but names don't mean anything in term of skills, but having a Koivu as a player will for sure bring fans to Montreal even as a 4th or 5th center

Ranking Chicago #1 on the rebuild is enough to prove this guy has no credibility... even with Bedard Chicago will be a basement team for at least 5 more years. They handled the rebuild so badly, pretty much traded away all their valuable assets for a cheap return (before Bedard).

@@emmettebramble10 I am not a scout nor a hockey analyst, it's not my job as opposed to Pronman. There's no way Chicago is 1st in any list.
