NOTE: There’s a bit with rapid, sped-up imagery of me fighting a dragon in Inquisition with lots of millisecond-long light flashes that could prove unpleasant for people with photosensitivity issues. There’s a warning in-video, but just in case, the bit goes from 15:01 to 15:32 for those who wish to avoid it.
Today, Hex remembers that they were born of the Dragon Age, made men of the Dragon Age, and undone by the Dragon Age as they put to words their feelings on the upcoming latest installment in Bioware’s fantasy franchise. They also struggle with new editing software, but it’s fine, everything’s fine, we’re all fine here.
This was supposed to be an Elden Ring Let’s Play, but Bioware decided to remind me that I sold my soul to them when I was twelve and will always come crawling back.

So the fun part about Adobe proving themselves to be Just The Worst is that it finally pushed me to move to DaVinci. Still feeling things out - I had years with Premiere Elements and weeks with DaVinci, so there’s some growing pains in the editing and so forth. Still, it already feels better to use than Elements, and has way more tools to work with and just. Runs better?
I sound like I’m shilling, I promise I’m not, DaVinci’s vibes are just better and it’s nice to see “industry standard” turn away from Adobe.
