I was just thinking about how I wanted to say & word my comment and while I was doing that, I happened to read yours. It's almost exactly what I wanted to say. To a "T" ! It was awesome to see some family background! And Grandma drove as well! So freaking cool! I absolutely fell in love with Grandpa! He just warmed my heart! Old school, old morals, old ethics, . . . We have that saying, 'Old School' that seems to get attached to a lot of scenarios. But when I hear that, I immediately turn to 'Honest", . . . Honesty & Respect! And with that comes hard work. Hard work to maintain that reputation of honesty that gains that respect. Which is something that our younger generations are lacking in. Not all, but most. Jeepers! To see Grandpa still going strong is not only amazing, but sooooo darn respectful. And you're right, Casey grew up with that, it is where his morals & work ethics derived from. All you can do is admire & respect that with nothing more than a high regard! No wonder so many of us love him as well as watching his videos! @Casey LaDelle ! I think a lot of us would absolutely LUV to see more of your family stories, An extension to the wee little clips we saw in this video!

Hi Casey, I have been watching for a few years now. Keep up the great work. I work at a Western Star dealership in Ontario (Canada). Parts shortages are still an issue these days, so if you need an extra set of hands to help source parts for your trucks, feel free to reach out. I worked at Peterbilt for 10 years, and I have contacts at International/Navistar as well. So I might be able to help with any of those units too.

Absolutely loved seeing & hearing your grandfather and his fleet of classic iron. I really miss working with his generation of men who taught me the way. Seeing trucks that long baffles me, as I'm used to trucks that can be at most 61.5 feet (18m 75cm) including the trailer. How do you hold an automatic back coming down off of a mountain though? I've got an Allison 2500 attached to my Mercedes MBE906, and it does not like to hold a gear even when shifted into L, 2, 3 coming down a hill. I don't know if that's just the nature of the beast, if something is wrong with it I need to get fixed, of if I'm just not doing it correctly.

awesome. It sounds like the microphone has some automatic gain control. if you are talking, close to the mic, it turns sensitivity down to not over- amplify your voice. but if someone else, further away from the microphone is talking, gain is all the way up which also adds a lot of ambient noise. and switching between the different gain settings is very noticeable but it is really not bad. way better than when the other person further away is super-hard to understand.
