Bro word of advice, put a dark towel down on the table. That way the spilt water doesn't ruin the finish in the table. It looks nice and expensive, dont want to ruin it and if any fish jump you can see them easy. Another banger bro!!! Have a awesome day!!!

I love your videos, a couple suggestions for you. Tell camera girl that she needs to concentrate on the tanks! She likes your tushy and although it is pretty good, some of us come to see the fish! Lol just kidding! Great camera work! I do have a suggestion on taking the babies from moms mouth. If you could move the babies from the dish into the tank as you get the mom to spit them. Then if some are s bit early you just put mom into the dish and she will pick them back up. Thanks gor the smiles.

Power feeding means over feeding. I have found if you grow them slowly they tend to be healthier and have better colours

This guy doesn't feed consistently, so he compensates with "power feeding". Such a daft thing to do. Makes the water dirty and water quality drop. But he obviously doesn't care for optimal water quality.
@cesarbst8170

Power feeding before breeding is actually quite normal and done with most animals you breed. Also non clear water doesn't necessarily mean bad quality water.. they're breeding so that's obviously a good sign.. y'all just be saying anything

@rob if high temp is a problem. you can freeze bottled water and let them float and use them as chillers to drop the water temp. just an idea to consider.

Rob, if you get yourself a small clear hard plastic tube, something big enough for the fry to be pulled into, you can put your thumb over the end of the tube, put the tube in the water near the fry you want and pop your thumb off the end, then cover it again quickly, it will suck the fry you want into the tube, it is alot faster than trying to pick them up with your fingers. Just suck them into a clear tube is faster and safter for them.

The Victorians could be Spec 44, You should get 3 females and 1 male in one tank by themselves and see him color up fully it might help identify them. If it is a spec 44 they get pretty wild colors.

Those striped cichlids are Bumblebee cichlids (Pseudotropheus Crabro).Also known as a Hornet Cichlid.Pretty sure thats what they are anyway. Its an aggressive mouth brooding species of Mbuna. Pretty cool fish imo. Forcing the babies out like that stresses the hell out of the mother. Really bad idea guys. Wait until she spits them naturally then net them up that way.Just an fyi. Happy fishing Rob.

Hatching shrimp is not that hard and your babies would do really well with the protein you get. I have a DIY hatchery and it is simple. I use a turkey baster and suck them out and feed them to my Angelfish The babies eat them up and the shrimp cause the adults to spawn all the time. hanks for the video Rob.
